This was some of the best Cajun meal I’ve ever had, the shrimp was delicious, the Étouffée was soooooo good!
Enjoyed our experience! Verna was our sweet server! Glad we chose to eat here!Ordered 3 pounds of crawfish, and a 1/2 plate fried fish & shrimp and another plate 1/2 fried oysters and shrimp. also ordered the sampler platter. It was good!
Food was good but took an long time to get our food! The place had a band that was too loud for a small place! Couldn’t have a conversation with anyone at our table. If I go back won’t be on Saturday!
DELICIOUS FOOD!! Didn’t try the etouffee but ALL of fried food is the best around! Boudin egg rolls were my favorite by far!????????????
Bold shrimp is not fresh if you like paste white shells on your shrimp then go there tasted like it was from the microwave definitely not boiled manager was very rude ask me if I wanted to see the bowling pie in the back to prove that they were boiled is boiled and yelled across the restaurant at me.
the waitress was not very attentive! the food was good but service was horrible! I would. it recommend going there as long as she is there. i DNT remember her name but it was a big black girl! also her hygiene was bad
Like the name of the restaurant, the crawfish Étouffée is my favorite! Papi’s recipe is from the bayou. True Cajun food! I love this restaurant!
I got a Grilled Tuna Salad and the lettuce was horrible. The appetizer crab cakes will overcooked and very dry
The food was great but the server Markeisha I believe was her name was terrible. Very rude. Not attentive at all. Would not return as long as she is an employee there.
Very friendly staff, nice clean upbeat ambiance. The location is a bit off the beaten path. They bring out a platter of fried cracklin similar to chips at a Mexican restaurant. The family enjoyed it. I don’t do cracklin. Fun and tasty appetizer tray. The fried bell pepper rings were new and very good for us. Pickled okra, and alligator bites were great. The fried bell peppers were green, red and yellow. Never heard of that before and they were a very nice surprise. I had the po boy hamburger which generous and tasty. It was a bit much and comes with a generous portion of fries. My wife got the fried shrimp and crab and corn bisque on the combo menu. My son got the red beans and rice and fries on his combo meal and my daughter got the gumbo and thin fried catfish. The combo meals were very good and generous. We got the fried bread pudding which was unique and done perfectly..and tasted incredible. We will definitely go back. I can’t say I’d drive across the lake to go there..but I live near and will be a regular. Great job.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My friend made a reservation for a party of 13 for her birthday dinner for 7PM and they confirmed it was fine. When we arrived (all of us) to the restaurant, it was completely closed. On all platforms, it states they close at 9PM, if they were due to close earlier than usual, an update on google, Facebook, etc would have been sincerely helpful. Completely terrible experience for a place we didn’t even get a chance to dine in at as it was an even harder experience for my friend to find a new restaurant so late to host a party of 13. 10/10 don’t recommend.
First time eating here. Great food and reasonably priced. Good Cajun cooking at its finest.
THIS RESTAURANT WAS AMAZING!!
we stopped by for lunch today..being from WNY, down visiting relatives..we wanted some Cajun food. our trawler platter was sooo good! waitress was very nice and attentive. our shrimp was moist and tasty. the batter light and crispy and the crawfish etouffee was awesome! if we ever get the chance, we definitely will be back!
Last night we were actually headed to Mugshots and saw Etouffee as we pulled into the parking lot. We’d gotten lunch takeout a few times and decided to go there for supper instead of burgers. We sure made the right choice! Everything we had was great. Their seafood is excellent! They also had live music on the outside patio. I could see the volume being too high for some people but we really enjoyed it and the band was great!
