We were in the Covington area and looking for a casual lunch place so decided to check out Fat Spoon Cafe. We started with the waffle fries and then got the cobb salad, the slider with fries and grilled cheese with tomato soup. the waffle fries were very good and the cobb salad was also good and a large portion. the tomato soup was good but the grilled cheese was average; the fries with the sliders were very good while the sliders were decent. \n\noverall a nice casual place for...

Enjoyed breakfast on a Saturday morning, not too busy and the service was wonderful. I couldn't decide so I had the pecan waffle, grits, bacon and eggs. My partner had the shrimp omelet smothered in crawfish ettouffe. We both enjoyed our meals and agreed the grits were absolutely wonderful!

CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT FAT SPOON! The only negative is that it is SO far from me. Food great! Service great! Staff great! They know what they are doing and are consistent.
