My wife and I stopped by the Fat Spoon for a mid morning breakfast and enjoyed the experience. Although quite busy on this Wednesday, service was friendly and efficient, with our coffee cups (excellent coffee) never allowed to be empty. The Fat Spoon has a very clean, almost industrial chic decor that is sleek and efficient, which improves upon its nondescript exterior. It was our first visit and I had the signature Fat Spoon omelette with grits and whole wheat toast. My wife had the Greek omelette. Omelettes were very good and the toast especially so. Seems strange to compliment the toast, but the bread was thick with a home made texture that was clearly a cut above average. Grits were creamy and hot in the best Southern tradition. We recommend the Fat Spoon Cafe for breakfast and will return sometime to try the lunchtime fare.

This location is pretty bad I won't be back. I simply ordered two eggs over easy, a biscuit, ham and hashbrowns. The biscuits come out cold because they sit in a basket on the shelf in the kitchen because the Cook is too lazy to keep them warm. He's also too lazy to make fresh hashbrowns because he takes frozen french fries and cuts them up a little pieces, and they're terrible and cold for some reason the ham even came out cold. The only thing decent were the eggs they were cooked perfectly. I'd fire the Cook get somebody somebody in there that knows what they're doing and it might actually get better but the staff is not very friendly either. They've got lots of problems that's all I can say.

What a great morning we had coming here. Wonderful staff and great company. Everyone was so friendly and the food was great. My daughter turned 14 today and they surprised her with a wonderful brownie and candle lit for a wish. Thank ya’ll for great enjoyment!

This place had the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! The staff was friendly and accommodating to my family of 5 will definitely come back next time we travel here!

The shrimp and grits was the most decadent breakfast I have ever eaten. Absolutely perfect!! The service was nice. We had a party of 5 and everyone's meals were timely. The staff sang happy birthday and brought out a delicious bread pudding with a candle. It was the perfect cheery start to a long day, The restaurant and restrooms were clean and bright. I'd love to come back if only we were closer. Highly recommend.

Ordered a Ruben Sandwich with Fries, to go! $18,00 bucks and some change! I got mostly bread, some sourkraut and a stingy portion of dried up, little chunks of corn beef. The fries were good. Very disappointing!

My friend and I walked in for an early lunch. Was not greeted by staff. The staff were all standing around and talking. There were a good bit of empty tables that were dirty. Once staff finished their conversation, we were told to sit where ever we liked. More people came in and were greeted right away and were led to a table with menus. We decided our money would be spent elsewhere. Do not go here.

Food is great. Service is good but servers are running around all over. Maybe they don't have own sections? I have witnessed the owner more than once while seated at bar counter talk absolutely crazy to staff. I asked for a manager after he left and was told there really isn't one. Just seems like there is a lot on staff with little support. I witnessed two servers hand washing dishes because they were out of clean ones. So again food is great just be patient with staff if you visit.
