that @kathleen budgick lady is incorrect i was at the five guys store at the same time no one was begging for tips everything is freshly made and everyone in the store seemed happy they were a little backed up on orders and she decided herself to make sum tea for a 5 min wait the employees were working fast and efficiently trying to get everyone’s orders out she never made tea and five guys is a great restaurant i’ve been coming here for years it’s so sad to see someone tear down such a beautiful store with the nicest people ever i waited 5 mins to get my order which was almost right afters hers everything was fresh and right it’s such a same that some people are rude to the employees who work they’re butts off to have such a good work environment and i’m grateful for them because sometimes it can be a struggle to cook and i am so sorry you all had to deal with such a negative person i’ve talk to a lot of the managers there and EVERYTHING is fresh and prepared at the store so she doesn’t know what she’s talking about

Zero stars really.Went here with my 70 year old mother.Noticed the tip jar out on counter. Tips....to insure proper service.Ordered food with drink. Proceeded to go make my own drink. While they prepared the food as in their job description I would assume. Guess they expect a tip for doing what is expected as a part of their job that they signed up for. Am I tipping them to motivate them to make the order correct and have tea brewed and condiments stocked? At the drink area both tea containers were empty. Three people that were ahead of us I noticed went for tea and just didn't ask for more to be made and got soda. I don't drink soda and wanted tea. .So I let them know the tea was empty. Four orders came out as we waited for ours, still no one came to make the tea. I've worked in kitchens 19 years, I took it upon my self to brew the tea and looked in storage below for tea pack to start the tea. I was rudely asked what was I doing. Wouldn't it seem obvious that I was trying to make some tea being that it seemed they couldn't handle their job on their own.So I stated the obvious, " I'm trying to make some tea'. I was agin responded to rudely that someone was working on it.that they have been busy. As though that was an excuse to not make more for any other customers .if your busy then they should have enough sense, let me check the tea and condiments station and make sure its stocked for guest. Why is it the customers responsible to notify you when the tea is out ,both sweet and un sweet were out. The tea is not prepared in the back and brought out. It's brewed at the machine exactly where it was. Now, after 8 min someone decided to come from the back with pitcher of sugar and brew basket to push the button to brew tea. Made the sweet tea. By now I'm sitting down eating the Luke warm fries and burger with my mother who got a soda...and I'm left with nothing to drink with my meal. The girl didn't even check the un sweet tea bin after making the sweet. After me calling them out on slacking she was now filling the straws and ketchup packs and napkins, but never even checked the un sweet tea. Which is also brewed in the same exact spot. She just had to switch out the containers and repeat the process minus getting a pitcher of sugar from the back. At one point all the staff but one person was in the front so customers were just standing, waiting to place an order. No one was whiping down tables after guest left. We dump our own trash when finished, so I'm perplexed of why they feel they even deserve a tip. It's pre cut fries in a bag dumped in to a fryer. Pre made burger patties...pre sliced cheese. Where I've worked we cut fries from potatoes. We mix and hand make burgers. We hand slice cheese, Lettuce, make our own pickles ,slice our own tomatoes, onions, etc. And know who gets the tips? The servers. The ones who walk food out to the table. The ones who bring the drink and fill them, the ones who clear table of trash and clean up dining room. When they are busy they work harder not slack and say they have been busy. So exactly what service is it that 5 guys provides that they feel the need to beg for tips with a tip jar?I tip 70 and 80 percent of bill when I go out to eat . And at places like 5 guys ,I wait till I receive my food. And if correct and hot ,I throw in a 20. I did not tip this rude crew anything . After I said the tea was out, an , " I apologize mam,we will get right on it."Not to be rudely told an excuse of being busy and then wait till it is convenient for them to make the tea. We were there for about 30 min plus, the unsweetened tea was never even checked, therfore never even made. There was less then 6 customers in the dining room and 3 came through order line the entire time I was there. They call that busy?Today is February 17th 2024. The last day I'll ever spend my money at 5 guys.and will never suggest it to anyone. they each work one small station and can't handle it . This is why easy humans are r

This was my first and last experience with this restaurant and shame on me for not checking the bag for walking out! I placed an order on line for pick up. I didn’t think the order was overly complicated to get this wrong. It was two cheeseburgers with only 2-3 toppings each (ketchup and grilled onions on one and grilled onions, relish, and ketchup on the other) and a veggie cheese sandwich with three small fries. I was furious to discover when I unwrapped the sandwiches that we’d been given three cheeseburgers (one was a double) with several toppings on them that we didn’t ask for and my veggie with cheese sandwich was not there!! I watched one of the employees ‘quality check’ the items against the receipt as they were bagged and they still got it horribly wrong, which makes me wonder what exactly she was verifying!! $36 for a disaster! Never again!!!

The food was good, the service ok. Too many employees talking to each other's and not really working. The trash overflow and I told one of them and I got some attitude because they have to do some work. Also, the tables dirty and I have to wipe one to sit down and eat.

Love Five Guys, but they are too expensive for a burger joint. For 4 people(and one of us only got fries) it was over $50. At least start a rewards program or something, geez.
