Our favorite sushi spot! Never disappointed.

I’ve been looking for an “all you can eat” near Slidell for so long. Whenever I found out Fuji opened I went immediately. It was delicious. Everything was fresh. I think the rolls could use a little work. But we have been a bunch of times already and love it!

My son and I went yesterday for lunch and the place was near empty. The service was terrible. Food, when we could get someone to serve us, was good. The waitress kept disappearing, and when we would ask for her and she would come to the table, it was as if we were annoying her. There were servers rolling silver and standing around doing nothing. We frequent Sushi Masa in Baton Rouge often, which is always packed. It’s an hour drive, but well worth it to receive good service. I paid the bill and left, hungry and disappointed. Zero stars. A shame..

Amazing deal with the all you can eat! Pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the sushi/sashimi, which often suffers at buffet joints. Yellowtail jalapeño a standouts dish.

The restaurant name will probably mislead people. It's not a hibachi. I went there for the ayce sushi. You have a menu where you can mark what you want and they bring it to the kitchen. I ordered plates after plate of sashimi and it was always good. They kept refilling my drinks. The rolls are 4-5 pieces so you can sample more rolls. I would definitely eat there again.

My husband loves the all you can eat Sushi. And I am a fan of the hibachi scallops and don’t forget the delicious fried banana for dessert. Great lunch specials.

This place is amazing. Even for non-sushi people like me. The teriyaki chicken was so good I got like 3 plates of it. I normally live on gyoza at restaurants like this but while the. gyoza itself was good (deep fried) the sauce that came with it had to much red pepper in it for me. The miso and clear soups were ok, they were really good when you added some soy sauce.
The sweet potato tempora was really good as well, especially dipped in the teriyaki sauce. The chicken cutlets came with a sort of barbecue sauce, my husband liked it but I wasn't really a fan. Plus the cutlets weren't really seasoned, just fried chicken as opposed to the teriyaki chicken which was well seasoned and grilled.
My husband got a lot of sushi and loved it all, so they get an A there too. The staff was very attentive, never letting empty plates sit for to long and always taking the menu back when we requested new things (you write on the menu with sorry erase markers for what you want then they give you a new one).
The desert was amazing. Deep fried banana with chocolate drizzle. It was like eating banana pudding with a touch of chocolate.
We'll definitely be going back, maybe taking the kids next time as our oldest has decided he likes/wants to try sushi.

Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs and booster seats for the kids. Then have basics like chicken tempora or chicken cutlets on the menu if the kids aren't ready for sushi

The all-you-can-eat made-to-order concept is AMAZING! All the food was delicious to include the specialty rolls and fried cheesecake! The Covington roll and the I-10 were my favorites!

Kid-friendliness: My 3-year-old daughter loved it and ate for free!
