Very nice lady. The boudin kolache is very good, and there is a good selection of savory breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. Donut selection was limited, but there is a sign on the door stating that they are short staffed, so that may be why and that may also change. Recommend this place for a quick stop to grab breakfast (sweet and/or savory) and coffee on the way to work or the deer stand. They open at 5 AM. Better than most if not all the fast food places, and probably actually...
This is a small donut shop, the nearest one to Abita Springs. They have two types of kolaches. One is the usual small sausage inside of donut dough. The other is a boudin ball inside of donut dough. They were both ok but the boudin was not very spicy.
We are regular visitors to the area and somehow missed this place before. Very friendly place with yummy donuts! It’s not far off the main drag. They are old-fashioned style donuts, big and fresh, super tasty. Throw in some Community Coffee and I’m set!
