This is a small donut shop, the nearest one to Abita Springs. They have two types of kolaches. One is the usual small sausage inside of donut dough. The other is a boudin ball inside of donut dough. They were both ok but the boudin was not very spicy.
We are regular visitors to the area and somehow missed this place before. Very friendly place with yummy donuts! It’s not far off the main drag. They are old-fashioned style donuts, big and fresh, super tasty. Throw in some Community Coffee and I’m set!
So happy we have a donut shop so close. I never liked any of the other food places that occupied this place and didn't think anything was ever going to make it here. I sure hope this place does! I don't know about powdered jelly or powdered cream, but they certainly have both in glazed and they are delicious ? My husband gets a mixed dozen and they have a wide variety. It's a nice clean place too.
