Pizza place with poor pizza, I got a small bread sticks and a large pepperoni pizza for about $20, takeout. Bread sticks were better than the pizza. I think the pizza dough is too spongy and cake-like. Pizza ratio Cheese, sauce, bread is off. Better pizza from a gas station, unfortunately this may be the closest pizza place to my house.

Disclosure: I come from a family of hard-to-please NY pizza snobs. That being said, this isn't New York, but the pizza was pretty decent. I had a personal "Sweep the Kitchen" and the ingredients were fresh & tasty. I thought it was kinda weird that the crust didn't have an outer lip, which made it difficult to pick up and eat. Messy fingers! But bad pizza gives me heartburn, and this one didn't, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

Food is always sooo good! And always served hot too! They have awesome lunch specials as well! Make sure you bring cash for the Arcade games for the kiddos!
Johnnys in Covington is one of the best pizza places around !! They always get my order correct and it’s always fresh and tasty ingredients. The salad bar just opened and it was all yummy. If Cole is there he’s going to make sure you have a great experience!

I grew up where we had a lot of Johnny's Pizza houses. You never know what you have till you don't have it anymore. They are absolutely the best pizza anywhere. Service in Covington is great. I drove from Gulfport just to get my fix.
