Went to have a drink friday at 9:15pm with my wife at the bar and the bartender told us they were closed, and didn't say anything else. The look I got was it was time to go home. I’ve been wanting to go here for a while because it looked nice and quaint, but this experience just ruined it forever. A very unwelcoming experience. We immediately went Del Porte and it was extremely nice. Will never go back to Marcello’s!

Intimate Italian at its best. I ordered the pork cheek and my wife got the veal Molli. It was superb. For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu. The waiter said, “the best Tiramisu of your life” and he was right! My wife doesn’t usually care for tiramisu but it was divine. We can’t recommend Marcello’s

Well appointed venue. We were greeted as entered by owner(manager). The menu choices were excellent, as were the wine and cocktail choices. Our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the various entrees. All in all a great experience in our opinion. Will certainly return!

This was our first time dining at Marcellos's and we will definitely be back! Everything was top notch. This is a popular small place so I recommend reservations on a Friday or Saturday evening. I highly recommend the Linguine Tritone.

This was our second dining experience at Marcelo's. The first time was good enough to return for the second time. After this experience the restaurant is going on my “worst ever food list “ My wife ordered the Grouper fish special & I had the chicken Palermo. The fish tasted old and oily. The chicken was ok & served with tasteless pasta. The calamari was overcooked and tasted like old, dirty fry oil.

This was the last date night of 2023 for us. I made online reservations, which was easy, but the parking is kind of wild. The hostess said they had been experiencing some parking issues because of Dakota's. So keep that in mind when heading over. Our waiter was really nice and highly attentive. The food was delicious. I had the chicken molli and my husband has the ossobuco. Everything was really tasty. The service delivery was really swift. I will say the only thing that we didn't enjoy was the cheesecake. It wasn't bad but just meh in relation to the other dishes. I did really enjoy the tiramisu, though. Overall, it was a great dinner.

The atmosphere was quiet and nice. White table clothes. We were brought to our table right away. We had an early reservation, so that might account for the quiet time. The food and service were great. The bread was fantastic. You can sit outside or on back porch that was closed in or the dining room. It was our anniversary whichninputnonnthe reservation. Nothing was said or done to make it special. We would go back again.

Stopped by for my daughter's 20th birthday. This was our first visit and everything was excellent. We had 3 different dishes and it was well portioned and perfectly cooked. The service was great as well.
Very authentic atmosphere due to the layout. We ate in the front room that gives the feel of a private party yet the wall allows visibility through out the larger room. The food was delicious and the service was great. This place does not dissapoint.

We celebrated our 15th anniversary tonight and from the time we walked in until we left we were welcomed with some amazing staff. The food was absolutely amazing. Complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It was a very enjoyable night. Was our 1st time here but we will be back. Added to our favorites list.

Went to Marcello’s to celebrate my belated birthday. Since we are new to Covington, we depended on word of mouth recommendations. The entire evening was very special thanks to delicious dinners, terrific cocktails, and great service. We both got the Tomato Basil Soup and the Millo entree (one veal and one chicken). Fabulous. Highly recommend the after dinner cocktails - we tried them all. Lol.

Experience was outstanding, the environment and general ambiance were great and our server was excellent and patient with us as this was our first visit. The food was amazing overall 10/10 would go again.

We went at 5:30 on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was not crowded at all and we were seated immediately. The staff was very nice, checked on us at a regular pace and most important to us, let us enjoy our cocktails and then brought us our appetizer, and never brought the next dish until we had finished the last one and had a few minutes between courses. Perfect timing for us! Food was delicious. The salad we shared was a very good size; I enjoyed the Linguini Tritone, the seafood and pasta entree. My husband had the Pork Cheek Marsala. Very pleased with everything and we will return.
