Megumi 21 is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Covington! From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and incredible service that truly sets this place apart. The atmosphere is perfect – dim lighting creates a cozy, relaxing environment, ideal for a romantic dinner or a peaceful night out.

The food is absolutely outstanding! Every dish is prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and freshness. And as a thoughtful touch, they even serve complimentary miso soup – a warm and delicious way to start your meal.

What truly makes Megumi 21 stand out is their values. Hearing Christian music playing softly in the background while enjoying such excellent food is such a refreshing and uplifting experience. It adds a layer of peace and positivity to the already fantastic atmosphere.

Megumi 21 isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a place that feeds your body and soul. From the service to the food to the atmosphere, everything is done with care and excellence. I can’t recommend this gem enough – it’s a must-visit!

I went with a group for dinner (6:30ish), and it was busy, but no wait. My husband and I ordered a Mandeville Roll, a Boston Handroll, and a Crunchy Roll. All of the rolls were great, and we paid less than $30. I would definitely come back here again!

My only problem is that they brought a roll that wasn't ours to the table, but when they took it back, they gave it straight to the correct person. I'm pretty sure that's like a big health code violation, and they are supposed to remake the roll since other people could have tampered with it (or at the very least breathed on it).

The best sushi spot, food is WELL done and just soo perfect, everyone is friendly. The spot is pretty chill so no need to get all snazzy.. it’s nice and just comfy not over down and not too basic. I’m from the Bahamas and tried other places .. never again will stick to THIS spot lol

As far as u can tell the newer sister restaurant to the megumi in Mandeville.

I originally went to Mandeville as a coworkers recommendation was they perfer the Mandeville location. I agree with this assessment. The Mandeville location is a bit more.... Homely in feel and service tho there's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with Covington It just feels more modern vs Mandevilles more traditional approach.

They have most of the same things the Mandeville location has but they seem to have a few different variants of ramen like the cowboy ramen (*depicted) and unknown if this is a menu oversight or just a location difference.

Still amazing sushi even tho I started eating rolls which my favorite was the megumi two roll *highly recommended. I have evolved to more traditional Japanese feel and only eat nigiri sushi now.

Staff is still Uber friendly and helpful. Everything's neatly presented and taste awesome. I did notice some of the dishes like megumi two have a bit different presentation and look between the locations. But this is also seen in Pink Agave location where in the menu it states different chefs have different personalities which is why the variation.

Unlike the Mandeville location however this location has more tvs to watch sports or something in the meantime and an outdoor service Area to eat.

100% recommended to stop at either locations as I do believe the best sushi and 2nd best ramen spots are at the Two megumi locations.... *yes I believe the sushi here is better than Zen

Parking: Plenty of parking however much of its gravel parking but at least sectioned kff
