Misaki Hibachi and Sushi

If you want to go to dinner and be completely ignored and receive half your order over the course of an hour, this is the place for you! Don’t worry you will be charged for all of it even when you ask and tell them you never received it. It doesn’t matter, you ordered it still. Best thing is they will talk to you like you are dumb and it’s your fault.

We went after church Sunday and had a really great time. Staff were all friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful and of good quality. Everything was clean. The hibachi show was fun and kept us laughing. We will be back!

Ordered take-out and enjoyed a frosty Ichiban while awaiting order. Meal arrived same time Ichiban became a pleasant memory. More food than I expected...all of it expertly prepared & at a fair price, Well packaged, well presented, superior in every respect. 6-stars not an option, so 5 it is.

First time! had the steak and chicken hibachi dinner. I took off a star because the rare and med rare steak was closer to well done. The salad seemed not to be as crisp as it should have been. The rest of the meal top notch! Very accomplished hibachi chef. We loved the polished presentation of the entire dining experience. Staff very attentive and professional. We will come back.

The food, although it wasn’t bad, definitely wasn’t worth telling others about. The kids meals don’t come with noodles, when most or actually all other hibachi places I’ve been to do serve noodles as part of the kids hibachi. As far as the service, it seemed like they were behind schedule for some unknown reason. We had reservations for 6:00, but still had to wait for our “hibachi table” to be ready, and also waited approximately 15-20 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. Once we received our drinks, we waited about another 30-40 minutes before the chef came to our table, so it was almost 7:00 by the time the show got started. All of the staff were very courteous and helpful, but again seemed rushed. I’m thinking maybe they were short a hibachi chef or two. Lastly, the atmosphere was unfortunately not what one would expect for hibachi. The restaurant was clean, but just didn’t have that “hibachi” look or feel to it. For their prices I expected a lot more. While I’m thankful that my kids and their friends enjoyed the experience, I’m sorry to say I most likely won’t be dining here again.

Clean restaurant and friendly and attentive staff who refilled our drinks 3 times.
We were immediately given clear soup before ordering. We ordered steak hibachi and two sushi rolls. The Deathly Hollows roll was huge, a tad too big for any easy bite, but it was still good. The calamari roll was also delicious. We ordered fresh Wasabi with the meal and it was amazing. The steak was tender and the rice was seasoned well with pepper. The noodles were bland which we "seasoned" with yum yum sauce. The sweet tea was not strong, it tasted more like water. Overall we enjoyed the food but wish we didn't need to add flavor with a sauce on the side.

Horrible experience, weren’t greeted when we came in. Food was gross. My wife didn’t get what she ordered. The server was rude and the food was way overpriced. Never again

We got there soon after it opened, and the service was great! We got our food extremely quick after ordering, and she topped off our drinks before they even got halfway empty. We ordered a Crunchy Roll, Cajun Roll, and a Mandeville Roll. They were all good, especially the Crunchy Roll. The other two were fried, and I did not really care for how chewy the fried part was.

I reserved for a party of 17, 3 weeks in advance for my birthday. Our experience as a whole was underwhelming. The food was inconsistent, the hibachi “show” was nonexistent, and the hibachi chef was very rude. My party spent over $1000 on food and was disappointed at the entire experience. We didn’t even get a happy birthday song, but the other two parties at other stations did. When management was made aware of the situation, all they said was “oh yea we tell him to get better all the time and he just doesn’t “. DO BETTER. I will never eat here again.

The sushi bar was a treat, and the service was great. We enjoyed everything we ordered and then some. We splurged a bit, that's why we paid $30-$50 a person.

Great customer service, great food, good vibes!!! I would give them more stars if I could. I definitely recommend this place for the family and definitely for date night. The also have great lunch deals too.

Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions you won't be disappointed, they will accommodate you. There's vegan options as well.

Parking: You can't see the parking from the street because it's on the side of the building.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.wish I could go into detail about it but my kiddo likes sushi and his favorite here is the Bourbon Roll.

Sucks! Worst experience ever!! Main dish cold ! Sucks all food arrives in seconds cold ! Fillet wasted, won’t be going back finding it hard to tip at all ! Lady to busy folding napkins. Sad I see why no customers. Do not waste your money better service elsewhere in Covington.

I love sushi and have been eating at various Japanese restaurants in multiple states because i travel for work. I have to say, this is definitely some of the best, if not the best sushi I have ever had the pleasure of eating! the presentation was immaculate and the food amazing. We will be in town for a while and i know I will be eating here again and i will be bringing my friends because i can’t wait to see their reaction when they eat here. Thank you Misaki for a wonderful meal!

We went to Misaki thinking it would it would be good because of the reviews. The hibachi was sooo salty I couldn’t eat it. The plate was so big and loaded with food. We also had a sushi dish and we couldn’t eat but 2 pieces. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. The staff was great, very nice and attentive. We will never go back.

Can't take an order and tell you to go somewhere else. This after giving them second try and place was empty on Friday night which speaks volumes.
