People are always asking where to find good Mexican food, or maybe Mexican inspired, on the Northshore, ? Nacho Kat! I had the small queso, birria tacos and Mexican street corn, all delicious. The only thing that was just OK is their salsa, it's thick and taste slightly like marinara. Needs some love, Cilantro, lime, maybe some onion?

Well! We were eager to try a new MEXICAN restaurant and Nacho Kat was highly recommended! It was the most disappointing experience to say the least. The experience was like fast food quality food with upper end restaurant prices. Taco Bell is better and less expensive!Service: very slow (even though it was empty), never attended to our needs (couldn’t get any more water), and waiter didn’t have a clue about anything I asked.Price: The price was absolutely ridiculously expensive for what you got! We could have ate T-bones for three days with these prices!Food: where do I begin! We were served the smallest bowl of tortilla chips I’ve ever seen! Whenever we asked for more, he returned with about 10 chips in the bowl and said he was sorry but everyone can only have a few chips because the chip truck doesn’t come until next week! WHAT! And the salsa taste like tomato sauce..no cilantro, onion or anything. Not salsa! Moving forward… we ordered four meals… all served at different times so we couldn’t even eat together and ended up being late for a prearranged event. My child ordered chicken strips and fries. He got 5, yes 5 French fries and the chicken strips were raw! My other child ordered the chicken wings and fries. This time 8 French fries and these wings didn’t have any meat at all on them, all bone and were so overcooked that they were hard! Us adults ordered two Cali (carne asada burritos). This was the biggest joke! No side of beans, rice or fries and the smallest entree ever for the price! This was not a burrito, it was more like a mystery chimichanga. Burritos are not deep fried unless they are called chimichangas. We are very familiar with a real carne asada burrito and it’s not deep fried, nor does it have some mystery ingredients in lieu of an adequate amount of real meat.Bottom line, if you want real Mexican food, go elsewhere!!!!!

Portions are a little small for the price. I'm from the southwest and used to $13 burritos being big enough to have some leftovers for the next morning. The elote wasn't grilled, only boiled and kind of soggy without much flavor. Still better than most of the restaurants in this area offering Mexican
This place is incredible! We tried it last weekend and it was so delicious we picked it up to go this week. Everything we have tried has been delicious. The birria burrito is amazing! Staff is attentive and friendly. It is truly a hidden gem!

Absolutely amazing in every way! We had the street corn nachos with chicken, birria and cheese empanadas, and chicken flautas. The food was fresh, incredibly flavorful and unique. Such a little gem of a restaurant! Can’t wait to return! Thank you for the wonderful meal/experience!

The chips and salsa were fresh and sooo good!! I order pozole rojo, I love a good pozole! It was so full of flavor!!! Mine did lack some meat but I’d still order it again. 10/10 recommend.
