Red Bird Fried Chicken

Some of the best friend chicken I have tasted. The onion rings are amazing. The owner - Chad and staff are awesome people. I love this place.

The gentleman was nice and friendly great costume service. The food was amazing the chickens tenders were hot and tender the onion rings were freshly cooked and crunchy the rooster roll was buttery delicious, really recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back.

My wife’s chicken was way undercooked. They offered us a couple of chicken tenders as a replacement because it would be more than 15 minutes to get the replacement chicken. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which is just a couple of tenders on a cold bun, that’s it. No lettuce available. Even the tenders on my sandwich seemed a little undercooked. I had the gumbo, which was lacking for a place in Louisiana if you know what I mean. The macaroni was bland. The fries were probably the best thing we had there. Overall it gives off the appearance of being a southern chicken restaurant run by people from the North. They make attempts to be original, but it misses the mark by far. Definitely wouldn’t be a place I would eat at again. For my wife, me, and my 7 year old it cost us about $45. Won’t make that mistake again.

Chicken was quite tasty, I tried the spicy tenders and chicken on the bone. French fries were average. Food piping hot and fresh a bonus! Atmosphere was filled with tvs on every wall and not a place to really relax just a quick bite or pickup.

Stop the car, turn it around, got and eat here. The service was amazing the food was outstanding. I left so full and loved everything we ate. Classic chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, onion rings, cajuan mashed, oh Mac and cheese!! Fries perfectly season.

It doesn’t matter where you were going for dinner this should be your spot now!

This is a decent chicken place. The sandwich is just two strips on a bun, which is a shame since fast food restaurants in the area will actually give you a breast/patty. The chicken doesn't have much seasoning on it and the sauces are fairly mediocre. Service and atmosphere are good, though.

Tried Redbird in Covington for the first time tonight. Extremely pleased with my experience. Chad greeted us right away with a smile and asked if we'd been in before. He gave us a rundown of the menu and answered all of our questions. He was courteous, patient, and helpful. Our table was clean. The food came very quickly. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. Jay came and checked on us to see how everything was. He was very nice and cared about our feedback. The chicken was flavorful, hot and fresh. The onions rings were crispy and delicious. The smoked ketchup was awesome. Before we left Chad came and checked on us as well. It definitely left an impression that these two gentlemen cared about the customers experience. That meant a lot. If you haven't tried them you're missing out. My only regret was not snapping a pic before I dug in. Can't wait to try more delicious food on my next visit.

The restaurant was clean...the music was good and that's the only positive things I can say. Everything I ate was greasy...the chicken the french fries and even the dinner roll were sopping with grease...I would have to say one of my top two worse fried chicken experiences! I felt like I needed to find something fresh to cut the overwhelming fatty content and I eat fried foods often! The price does not reflect the food quality or the lack of service...you have to order at a kiosk...the utensils are the cheapest plastic that doesn't support trying to eat the food...just so you know I've never left a rating before...it was just that ?

Took over an hour and a half to order get food and eat. Food was mediocre. Kfc is even better. Every last table was dirty despite only 3 customers in the dinning room.

Fried okra! Delious seasoned fries and crispy chicken! Great portion size and bluesy vibe make for an enjoyable casual dining experience. We'll be back!
