I want to give praise to all of your staff members that were on duty Friday, April 11, 2025 on the outpatient surgery floor. I arrived at 5 AM and was there till about 11 AM. A BIG shout out to my two nurses Bonnie and Jamie these two ladies were on topped their game and went above and beyond for me! Even when I started bleeding after my procedure, I was scared I was nervous and a little panicking Bonnie, and Jamie assured me that everything was OK. It was normal and everything was going to be fine either one or the other stayed by my side until someone came and re-wrapped my foot. These two ladies were above me on any nurse I’ve ever had through my life. Please let these two nurses know how much they touched my heart that day with everything they did for me! I cannot put into words how grateful I am for your outpatient floor and the staff that works On it. The anesthesiologist came in and was very informative and made sure I knew everything that was going to happen. Make sure I knew what medicine was going to be given to me and what steps were going to be taken. Your anesthesiology department is amazing. The staff the doctors anesthesia surgical nurses everybody on that floor is absolutely amazing. I was always in the know of what was going on and what my next steps would be. Thank you,
09/14/23 a little after having my son transported the NICU had reported to Mississippi claiming my breast milk had dirt in it and that I was not ready for my son these women lied to social workers after one mishandled my premature son and I have photos when I went to record this woman cut his camera off I was in a wheelchair at the time and they made a new report to Louisiana claiming I faked my gallbladder attack and by hearsay they snatched my premature child and my younger 2 luckily hearsay does not hold up in court but just this small incline in our lives has caused so much trauma to all my children and I for the unprofessional lack of empathy and care given at that time a occupational therapist who worked with me back in 2020 didn't even notice me but I'll always remember her, she claims because I simply let her know that I had done this twice before that I wasn't working with her when I have 2 kids at home that were premature as well so what sense would make for me to want my 3rd child to suffer because I wouldn't of been able to handle him it's disgusting and still Tammany hospital just for that one malpractice has lost my entire family as patients nobody here will go there because a families life was ruined by one act in there NICU because of some gossiping rude nurses her were trusted to take care of my son.
Everyone was so nice and helpful
thank you all for caring for Bethany
We have been sitting in the ER for 7 hours and still have not went to the back. We got here at 5 and it is going 12am and my mom need to get fluids and nobody is saying anything. This is ridiculous to have people just waiting for that long and don't say a word to the patients. They have to do better.
If you come here for a psyc evaluation for you our a loved one. They will automatically kick you out to a psyc ward and wash their hands of you. I've witnessed it twice. No one cares here. And your questions are met with attitude. Dr's will do ANYTHING to get out of a conversation. Terrible
Huge complex, great staff very helpful
How do I rate St. Tammany Hospital...I would have to give it a negative review. Just about a month ago my 91 yo Mother, who lives alone, was in the ER as she had broken her back. She was sent home at 1am from the ER with a broken back min. meds for pain to take care of herself. She bagged the hospital to let her stay one night and was told no. How is this accaebtable? She was craing out in pain at home to the point we had to bring her back to the hospital. This has cause more problems now. She will not be able to take care of herself as she is now basicaly bed ridden. Causing more probles as finicial troubles. I just want to know who sends a 91 yo who lives alone home with a broken back? Please can someone tell me how this happens! What responablility does the hospital have?
TO ALL THE DOCTORS AND NURSE'S AND STAFF AT ST.TAMMANY HOSPITAL,GOD BLESS YOU AND THE BIGGEST THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF MY HUSBAND MR.JONES.
Unfortunately, due to the unethical actions of this hospital , and their social workers. This has caused me immense emotional pain and severe emotional trauma .
The incompetence is REAL with this hospital...Dealt with them first with my Dad and all they know is to prescribe narcotics for spine issues...Funnel you off to the Pain Management Center which nothing but a drug dealer instead of real solutions. Don't have leading edge robotic surgery for some spine issues. Then my Mom comes along...the residents in the Family Practice unit could not wipe their nose if they needed to. Their problem solving is non-existent. The cardiologist unit can't even adhere to guidelines when it comes to prescribing statins when the guidelines are clear....

If I can give this place, no stars, I would very rude nurses ask nurse to ask doctor to come back in so I can ask him some questions. Dr. comes in and proceeded to tell me he’s busy follow up with the clinic and read my papers very unprofessional
There is a hospital 5 miles from my home in Slidell but I travel almost 40 miles to Covington for treatment at St Tammany Parish Hospital.
I had my daughter here a week ago and have to say it was a great experience. The nurses, lactation specialists and everyone were phenomenal! Very professional, attentive and kind.
My daughter had to get transported to the ER from her doctors appointment and was admitted into PICU. The doctors and nurses in the emergency department were phenomenal! They made sure that my daughter was taken care of and everything was in a timely manner. The doctors and nurses in the PICU department were also great! The nurses always made sure that my daughter felt comfortable by bringing her coloring books, paint, bubbles, stuffed animals, and books. All of the respiratory nurses were also amazing! My daughter didn’t like the breathing mask on her face and they did so good with her!
My older brother had a procedure done there from nurse to doc they was great took very good care of him every one was great to him
