Ya Dig?

I went here to deliver my baby after i went into labor and it was the most calming experience with the most caring staff in labor and delivery. Nurse heather and fellow labor and delivery staff were amazing, caring and attentive. Dr. Mokry did amazing and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. They also gifted us with two Bundt cakes and a signed card from staff when leaving which was a very pleasant surprise. The lactation nurse Sheryl I believe is her name I could be wrong, was amazing and helped me figure out how to get my daughter to perfectly latch. Nurse Veronica who cared for my baby and I when moved to the new family unit was extremely caring, attentive, and supportive, she was amazing and made me feel sane when experiencing baby blues. I wish I could give everybody in labor and delivery and new family center a large hug for making my laboring experience as a first time mom as amazing as it was.

I came to the ER late on Tuesday and had to be admitted. I received excellent care in both places. I honestly can't say enough nice things about the entire staff. From the nurses to the housekeepers everyone was not only incredibly kind and competent but also just genuinely good and likable people. Hospitals are not my favorite places and I was in a lot of physical discomfort but every person made me as comfortable as I could possibly be in the situation. More importantly, every person made me feel like they *cared* which I find a rarity in today's world. Thank you again, STH!

This place is so unprofessional, if you want to be laughed @ by staff, refuse to allow caregiver into room with a stroke patient, this is the place for you. Wish I could give 0 stars.

The people that work here are top notch. The facility sucks. Ripoff on all vending machines and not enough scooters for senior citizens veterans etc. it’s a half mile walk to some rooms And front desk is. Wry rude

Christmas Eve my child was having terrible ear pain all night couldn’t sleep and in tears. Since it was the middle of the night and nothing was likely to be open Christmas Day we went to the ER. When we arrived around 4:00 am no one else was in the waiting room. The front reception and triage nurse were great, very pleasant and checked us in quickly. Once in a room the nurse practitioner that saw us was very short and aggravated. She was rude and made us feel ridiculous for coming in for what was likely an inner ear infection. We were told that she needed to see an ENT and that one would be calling us to schedule an appointment. We never heard from anyone about a follow up.

This hospital is the worst of the worst and I have had multiple surgeries and been in multiple hospitals this hospital called CPS on me and had my daughter taken due to false allegations telling them that I am messed up on heroin I tested negative for everything into every drug screen that the hospital took for my blood in my urine then CPS has me take multiple drug tests with my urine blood and hair and I pass every single one this hospital is nothing but trouble and sorry if I was you take your business medical business to Lakeview Regional Hospital don't waste your time this hospital will cause you nothing but trouble

Went into the hospital for the 1st time into the er pediatric part for Children and the nurses there were absolutely disrespectful and they didn’t treat us like we were patients. We had to talk to the supervisor to get it resolved I don’t recommend that hospital at all we will never be going there the doctor was amazing and attentive and stepped in and took action and stuff up for our behalf and help us out a ton and was very good but the nurses weren’t

I have been to this hospital several times. A few times in the ER and it’s one of the worst Emergency Departments that I have ever been to in my life. The last time the attending physician didn’t even read my chart. I go to Ochsner facilities so they can easily access all of my medical records. They put me in an area that is partitioned by curtains , so not much privacy. They were very dismissive, but told me to come back if I developed new symptoms or if the pain got worse. I came back two weeks later because I got new symptoms and intense pain. They didn’t address why I was having this pain or do anything to alleviate it. They kept me in the lobby the entire time with an IV in my arm. After reading the other low star reviews, I see that being dismissive and telling people anything to get them out is a common theme with this facility. I am in disbelief of the 4 and 5 star reviews. What I experienced in my last visit was reminiscent of stories told about Charity Hospital in New Orleans and not an Ochsner facility. I will have to go outside the Ochsner network because I won’t return to this facility. I wouldn’t recommend it and wish I could give it no stars.

Reviewing the ER for this hospital.Brought my newborn son to the ER at st tammany parish today.I made the 20 minutes with my mom since husband was working, i made the trip here since they have a pediatric ER separate from the adult ER, and I was hoping it’d not be too busy for the sake of my baby and the medical staff, but that was wishful thinking I suppose, it was insanely busy in both departments. The doctor was friendly, I liked him, however he really didn’t have the answer I was looking for but was able to give us fair insight, though it feels like I did waste a trip since they didnt have my answers, and gave me nothing. The male nurse was passive aggressive. I’m very stressed and a little off because of having a newborn and bad postpartum depression, and the way he talked, not necessarily what he said but how confronting and calloused his tone was with me really broke me for the day. The female nurses on staff were very friendly however and even loaned me a pamper since the honest company diapers we started using today and what i’d taken with us in his bag seemed to be giving him a rash.Overall a 2/5, mostly friendly staff, and they were helpful despite not having an answer. I left feeling defeated and disappointed. No answers, no prescriptions, just a screaming newborn.

My mom went to the emergency room, and they nothing to help her. I mean nothing. They gave her nothing for pain to get her through until she can see her doctor. Shame on you St. Tammany. She couldn’t even eat her Christmas dinner because of the pain. This is a 82 year old woman that is suffering.

After hesitating, pain was so bad went to Emergancy room early evening. The staff was perfect in every way, courteous, polite, efficient, and kind! From the shot to the medicine prescribed, they explained everything even being very busy. They took the time to explain everything to each patient. Five Stars ! I would recommend this ER !
