We went through this exercise 4 more times before I finally accepted a plain old Blue Moon. For a place that has a beer list of around 50 selections, not having the first five customerselections seems ridiculous.

My wife and I had always heard good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. The first time we ordered from them we got burgers. They were ok but nothing to be super impressed about for the price. They were bland but edible. I was home alone last weekend and decided to give them another chance just to see if it wa a bad day. Unfortunately I was even more dissapointed than the last. I ordered the Fried Gator Appetizer at a hefty price of $23. The portion was not bad at all. But the flavor was lacking and the meat itself came off as slimy. I have never had Fried Gator that dissapointed me until now. Along with the Gator I also got a half and half Fried Seafood. It had a little bit more flavor than the Gator but nothing special. And for what I paid for it the portions were severely off. I had more Fries and Hush Puppies than actual seafood. One piece of fish that was lacking in size and maybe 4 pieces of Shrimp. I highly doubt I will ever return to them. Given the amount of places around in Mandeville, Covington, and Abita Springs I expected better and was highly let down.

First time in & we were SO impressed!!! Bartender was sweet & attentive, atmosphere is super cool & casual, but the food was the best our entire trip. Extensive draft beer selection was awesome!! ?

I ordered a burger to go and it was one of the worst burgers I’ve had in a while. Took one bite and threw it away. They must have a teenager cooking the food. It was dripping in grease. Had huge sautéed onions on it. At least cut the damn onions right. Honestly, I was so disappointed. How do you mess up a ham burger ?
Had dinner on the balcony because it was loud inside. Watched the sunset over the cypress trees. Food was 5/5. Service was good. Drinks were great. Will return.
2 words. SWAMP BUCKET.That is all ..Just kidding lol. I went here once a while ago for dinner. It was lovely. Not a lot of super cute options on the North shore. I feel like this is definitely one of them. Came back recently via the boat dock while on an adventure with Captain Mike. That was fun to come through the back and get some tasty cocktails that were very strong from the nice bartenders. Not mad at this experience at all
