Another wonderful meal at Dakota! Perfect old fashioneds, Crab and Brie soup, one duck entree, one veal, both outstanding! Complimentary dessert to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All delicious! Our server, Gavin, could not have been any better at his job. Thank you Gavin!

The only negative about the experience had nothing to do with the restaurant, food or staff which were all excellent. There was a larger table and a few of the individuals at that table were speaking and laughing loudly, crossing over to obnoxious. The volume level was such that I could not hear the conversation at my own table. Please be respectful of other diners

This was our first time visiting The Dakota since we moved away and since they moved. We went to celebrate our anniversary and the experience was everything we wanted and more. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was SPECTACULAR. The soft shell crab I ate might have been the best seafood dish I have ever eaten! My wife had the redfish and was absolutely delighted with her meal. When we come back to visit and have a special occasion to celebrate The Dakota will be our place to go.

I had the crab Brie soup and the soft shell crab. This was a food memory from the old place. Fullfilled my expectations.

Superb service and atmosphere. Had the truffle mushroom soup which was very yummy but rich. Charred Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was very good. They surprised us with a wonderful chocolate flourless cake for my friend's birthday. Very nice spot for a special occasion.

My experience...well..As a CHEF.. myself..getting a table was simple and quick. .The atmosphere was great except for the noise of the tables so close together for the price. The menu was difficult to read as the lettering was light, try to use black lettering.. the fancy coloring can be done on the surroundings of the menu...We had someone read the menu with a iPhone light at a another table ...shined right toward us. The wait staff was unbelievably awesome!!! Given careful consideration for our needs. The parking was awful..for the price I paid for dinner. My vehicle was imprinted with a nail..slow leak this morning when checked...I would say if your going to have a romantic dinner have tables for two as my reservation asked for....NOT 4...Maybe cubicle off sections for privatization. The Redfish I order was ok not great...sauce could've been better...a soft lemon Vinaigrette flavor works great with redfish...and a more grilled season applies a better combination...I am sorry to say I will not be going again until these issues be resolved... I must let others know..do not waist your time..

This was our first time to the “new” Dakota and it was worth it! The crab and brie soup was fantastic; the soft shell crab entree was amazing! We received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was very thoughtful!

Amazing every time. The food is immaculate and the drinks are fun and tasty. I love the overall ambience, and it is a great date night spot. Service is always superior as well.

We went to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. We elected to sit outside. We were the only table outside, so it was perfect. Daniel was our server, and he provided excellent service. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. We can't wait to come back.

Every dish we enjoyed was thoughtfully crafted, wonderfully balanced & clearly made with passion. The crawfish arancini are TO DIE FOR. We also really enjoyed the soup du jour (smoked tomato with lardon), grilled Caesar salad add royal red shrimp, truffle fries, the new house made sausage flatbread and of course the redfish pontchartrain. Can't wait to come back to try their next seafood special
