The Southern Hotel in Covington, Louisiana, is an absolutely stunning venue! The timeless elegance, warm hospitality, and charming atmosphere make it perfect for any celebration. We had an amazing time performing here and can’t wait to return for another unforgettable event!

I can’t believe this restaurant only has 4 stars. This was by far one of the highlights of our trip. We were on a road trip from TX to Destin, FL and this was our stopping point for the night. Our server, ironically also named Destin was an absolute delight. From start to finish the service was 5 star.
The cocktail (I had a pretty and pink) was delicious and presented beautifully, the starter salad (we shared a poached pear salad) was delicious. The blue cheese mousse was nice and delicate. Not too rich, just the right amount of flavor. I had the burger and my other half had fish. We both cleaned our plates (rare occasion) and opted for dessert…the desserts are small but delicious. You could share, but maybe two bites per person. Which, we should have done, but we were gluttons nonetheless. He had the chocolate bread pudding and I had the earl grey creme brûlée.
Everything was delicious perfection from start to finish. We sat at a window seat and watched the lightning storm from the large windows.
Should we be in the area again, we will definitely be back!

As recent guests at The Southern Hotel in Covington, LA we visited the lounge. We were a part of one of the three events being celebrated at the hotel that Saturday evening. The place was packed, to say the least.
Melissa Thrash, bartender, and Christopher Walker, manager, made my husband and I feel like we were the only customers. They showed genuine interest in our travels and they were always patient when talking with us. They also shared information on drinks to try. We were at the lounge for several hours and the fantastic customer service did not lessen.
Go visit Melissa and Chris. I am positive you will have a similar experience.

Not only was the server knowledgeable about the menu and personable, but she also had great information about the room murals and history of the restaurant and hotel. It was a grand experience.

The most amazing restaurant in the North Shore -Covington area . I highly recommend from service staff to the wonderful delicious menu. It is such a charming restaurant located in the Southern Hotel. We happened to be there on a Friday for the French Friday the hotel celebrates. What an evening!! We will be back ?
