First Friday for lunch at the Gloriette. We were first attracted to the $0.25 Martini menu that we'd seen in a social media post. We were seated quickly at a window table that we'd requested on our reservation. The ambiance was very nice, but the music was a bit loud, which the staff immediately lowered when we asked. The wait staff was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. Two of our party ordered the Roasted shrimp . Beautiful presentation and delicious, but for $18, maybe at least bread on the side or a small side salad could be included. I had the burger ($22), cooked as requested, delicious with the caramelized onions, toasted/buttered brioche bun and a side of fries. Nolan, the food & beverage manager checked in with a couple times and to solicit our input. Great guy breathing fresh ideas to the Gloriette ( in the Southern Hotel). BTW- the Martini's were very good too!
Excellent service and food! Made our one year anniversary special, we had gotten a dessert that was a little over-frozen and when we told the waitress/hostess out of honesty she removed it from the bill, which she did not have to do nor were we trying to push for this. Overall such a great experience and we will be back!
Our Waitress was superb! The food was perfect and well prepared. We had a grand experience.
We had a very nice time for an anniversary celebration dinner. The food was very special, and the decor and ambience is very charming.
Our entire table of 7 wasn't happy their food. It was very loud in there we had couldn't talk. One of my friends said he'd never go back.
Tomato gazpacho was excellent. The mixed green salad was way way over dressed. The pork and creamed corn outstanding. But one piece of pork would be plenty. We felt bad wasting what we could not eat. Thanks everyone !
Service was awful. No need yo go into all the details but I have them! PS. Giving yourself at 20% gratuity is very presumptuous.
We had a beautiful dining experience at the Gloriette. The decor and music in the dining room were lovely. Our server Nathan was outstanding—knowledgeable, personable, enthusiastic with recommendations, made us feel comfortable and made us laugh. The two of us shared the beets and berries, fried mushrooms, swordfish piccata and the gulf fish (black drum). Everything delicious, and notably generous portions! I don’t usually have any trouble clearing every plate at a fancy restaurant—we actually got some food wrapped up here. We did also enjoy two desserts (earl grey creme brulee and the chocolate bread pudding with a coffee and chicory sauce!), and were so happy we did. Our time at the Gloriette really capped off a wonderful day trip to Covington; we will absolutely return. Thank you to the whole team.

Excellent food and service. Our waitress was thoughtful and accommodating. Our food was delicious and was served promptly. Cocktails and appetizers were perfect. We had 5 in our group and everyone was happy with what they ordered.

Delightful atmosphere and staff.
Our compliments to the chef.I had the pleasure of eating there today and the food was incredible. Our waiter, James, was very polite , attentive, and did an excellent job. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was our first time visiting this restaurant, but will definitely be back.
We celebrated my sister's 50th Birthday Tuesday at The Southern Hotel. Our birthday dinner at The Gloriette was amazing! The service was impeccable! The crispy fried oysters are fried to perfection! Light and crispy on the outside and juicy, salty goodness in every bite! No soggy bites!!! The braised beef short ribs melt in your mouth.
10/10 hotel, restaurant and bar!
