I stopped in with my husband on a quiet Saturday afternoon (around 2–3pm). The bar had maybe half a dozen guests, yet the bartender was already apologizing to everyone. We assumed the kitchen must be slammed or they were understaffed.

When we finally placed our drink order—a bottle of Monastrell—the bartender poured two glasses from the end of an open bottle, opened another and put 2 glasses in front of us. When we reminded her we’d ordered a *bottle* of Monastrell, she insisted she “just opened it,” then set an open (and more expensive) Malbec bottle in front of us. After we clarified again, she literally **grabbed** the mis-poured glass from my hand and dumped it down the drain. I’ve worked in the industry for over a decade and have *never* had someone snatch back their own mistake, let alone deny the guest the courtesy of keeping the mispour.

It took multiple attempts—while pointing directly to the bottle on the printed menu—to finally get the correct wine.

We ordered a quick bite (spaetzle), but the bartender returned with schnitzel and dropped it off without a word. We once again corrected the mistake only because I’m vegetarian. My husband ate the wrongly delivered schnitzel so it wouldn’t go to waste like the wine did—but we were CHARGED FOR IT ANYWAY. I genuinely have never seen a restaurant bill a guest for food that the *staff* got wrong.

Meanwhile, the “manager” wandered around watching all of this happen, complaining about how busy she was rather than helping anyone. Staff seemed confused about whether the restaurant was open or closed between lunch and dinner, giving different answers to every guest who walked in.

This was, without exaggeration, one of the most chaotic and unprofessional service experiences I’ve ever had. The food and wine were good, but the service was so astonishingly bad that it ruined the entire visit. I work a block away and will actively avoid this place from now on.

It's not cheap, at least not by my standards, but it's absolutely worth it, the staff is some of the friendliest I've seen anywhere in ages, I usually won't even chance going in just before closing, however against my better judgment I decided to ask if I could order something to go so is not to strain the kitchen/wait staff and was promptly talked into taking a seat and ordering lol. Everybody was so kind and attentive and after the long day I have had It was much appreciated. I've been wanting to try this place for a minute now and I'm so glad I finally stopped by. 1000/10 Will definitely be back!!! Also, as a mustard lover they really need to bottle and sell the mustard they serve with their jamon croquettes I'm going to be thinking about that for a while 😭😂, I got those and the pastrami Reuben. Everything was delicious I genuinely have nothing to complain about 💀. Normally I would be satisfied with everything and just wish they would turn the music down or the AC up or down and instead I got to just sit down and relax with a nice meal and that is exactly the point of a restaurant even with it half packed full of people It was still relatively quiet with just the general hum of people chatting and eating and the gentle sounds of our holiday favorites playing through speakers across the restaurant. If you haven't caught my drift yet, give this place a try!!!

We have been coming here since it opened and absolutely love the joint. The food and the service is top of the chart. My only question is to the management... You had the absolute best Escargot on the North Shore. Why did you take it off the menu? Open a CAN of snails and bingo. We ordered it every single time we came. And also... What's so hard about leaving the shrilmp, corn and pepper pizza on the menu YEAR ROUND? ALSO, kick up your high end Tequila selection. Still gonna come. Just some suggestions. Thanks

The Greyhound is a standard bearer and one of the best restaurants in the New Orleans metropolitan area. A multi-culti menu in the right hands means that you will have exacting versions of that schnitzel, those morrocan-style meatballs, that fish and chips, and what all of the different members of my party were craving, individually. The shrimp cocktail app was a stunner and tied it all in. The Beverage program is precise. Thank you to Lilly and her team for such grace and attention. Can't wait to return!

They catered our work meeting about a week ago and it was subpar at best. Why are they making pizzas Rubens burgers and couscous. Pick a lane and master one genre

This was our first time here. Nice place and plenty big inside. Parking can be an issue. I ordered the battered fish and chips. It was very good. My wife got the salmon and said it was the best she’s ever had. It came with a potato veggie mix. We also ordered a couple of Greyhound cocktails. It was a grapefruit vodka with grapefruit juice and ice cubes made of GF juice. Everything was really good, especially the service. We’ll be back!

I am definitely coming here more often! My server Savannah V. was very knowledgeable with the items on the menu! I asked her many questions about many things and she was able to explain everything! I had the burger and just WOW. Top notch, perfect juicy ness, the arugula was a great choice for lettuce!! Love it!

From start to finish, everything was on point. Kyle, our server, was phenomenal. His energy, timing, and recommendations truly made our night. We started with the baked feta, which was absolutely incredible... rich, savory, and perfectly baked. The wood-fired pizzas are the best in town, with a perfectly crisp crust and bold, fresh flavors. Do not sleep on the fries, which come paired with some amazing dipping options.

And let’s not forget the cocktails... seasonally curated and spectacular. Each one felt like it was crafted with real thought and creativity. You can tell they take pride in every detail, from the food to the drinks to the service.

We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Kyle again!
