The Pink Agave -Covington

By far, one of the worst experiences my wife and I have ever had at a restaurant. They wanted to charge $4 for chips and salsa when they are typically complementary at other establishments, then the server shamed us for not wanting to pay for $4 for something like that. The food was sub par. Basically an over priced Taco Bell. The plates were all chipped which is a major health code violation. The chicken was bone dry and the service was laughable. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would.

It's always a great time at the Pink Agave. I had the pleasure to have some great food, great drinks(gotta try a new margarita every time) and the service is top tier. Reina was on top of it, along with her other tables without missing a beat. I look forward to the next time I'm in town.

Parking: Plenty of parking even during busy times. At most you'll have to park at the chimes next door but I've never had that issue.

Kid-friendliness: The accommodations for kids and seating are awesome, especially with big parties.

Maybe this just wasn't my cup of tea, but the food was pre-prepared and low quality and the service is about what you would expect from McDonald's. The ambiance was terrible: it was so loud and obnoxious that one could hardly enjoy a meal. Not a place for kids unless you want them to develop serious mental disorders.

We were in Covington for some errands. After a long day and a lot going on we decided a “date night” dinner would be fun. We don’t live in the area so found a place on google. It looked cute and like it might have a decent vibe and food …

It was even better! We had a couple drinks, The Bandit and a Strawberry Mimosa. We got a Churri Queso with Pita and chips. It was so good we splurged on a second one.

The Entre’ were a Shrimp Enchilada and Mexican Pizza. The sides of rice, creamy esquite corn, and a shrimp and corn soup. I’m a foodie, I love to eat, my partner is Latin and very in tune with the authentic flavors. This dining experience was so far and away better than either of us expected.

From the amazing service provided by Abby, to the off the chart food, insanely good drinks, and camp/fun atmosphere this was the best dining experience in and around New Orleans in months.

Okay service and a decent atmosphere but the food was very mediocre at best. My children and myself got quesadilla 3 in which were cheese with no sides and the bill was over 90$. Absolutely insane price and no prices listed online or on menu. Very disappointing and misleading. I highly do not recommend.

I fell in love with this place the second I stepped inside. Both times I have gone both of my waiters/waitresses were amazing. McKayla was the sweetest girl I have ever met. I really hope to get her the next time I go ?

It was super trendy reminded me of a drag bar in Miami! I think high schoolers and girls nights would be great here. Not the best place for young children. They had things like Bit** that’s my bestfriend and drinks called the BBL lol. The food was surprisingly good though not real Mexican more like gringo type of Mexican. I would go back for drink or something with GFs but def not going back with my husband and kids ?
