I just LOVE the atmosphere of this place! Not sure if they mean it to be this way or they just haven't redecorated since the 90's, but it's nostalgia at its best!! I love that you can watch the pizza guys making the pizza thru the window and the jukebox is such a cool touch. Also, the lighting is SO cool & vibey!! Now for the food.... We have ordered here about 3 times so far, and although pizza has great taste, it just REALLY needs to be made with a thicker crust! They're missing the mark here BIG TIME for me, and I'm sure for others as well.

Pizza for the gods. A food gem & a longtime Covington favorite. Nestled in a quiet strip mall you'll be treated to hand tossed, very thin crust, topped with quality ingredients pizza version of ambrosia. Wine or a frosty Michelob on tap are beverage options. The house special pizzas are amazing. "The Board" is a favorite. And you have the option of no tomato sauce pizza with their garlic olive oil topped pizza. In that case I love the "Wow" pizza. Surprisingly flavorful! Have always been given good, friendly service. I love watching our local pizza masters hand toss the dough while I wait for my pizza. Ambiance is that of a 70's pizza parlor with a colorfully decorated & meaningful pizza box art gallery surrounding you. A jukebox with oldies but goodies takes you back in time. To finish I like the turtle ice cream pie dessert. Wholesome & casual environment. The only downside to The Pizza Man pizza is sometimes the very thin crust can be overwhelmed under all of the stellar toppings but it never isn't delicious! Just fold the slice over & enjoy pizza paradise!

So we tried Pizza Man today for the first time in a long time. Lots of toppings but the crust was thin and soggy. I called to complain and basically was told the pizza had too many ingredients for the crust to be crispy. You have to eat it with a fork and then the ingredients slide off the crust. They weren't concerned I wasn't happy.
