Today, we drove to Covington to try Turgeau's. What an absolute delight!
They have a section of the menu that is called Gluten-Feee, Cross-Contact Safe. In addition to being a gluten-free celiac, I'm also dairy free. I was able to have biscuits, a lovely turkey and avocado sandwich, and a raspberry lemon oatmeal pie.
The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable.

Turgeau’s is my favorite restaurant to go to that eases my worry about cross contamination for food allergies. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about allergies and does everything possible to prevent contamination. It is a cozy atmosphere with very friendly owners and staff. It is my #1 choice for places to eat and to be able to sit down and have a delicious meal. Definitely worth the drive from Hammond.
