The best seafood gumbo on the Northshore. Great poboys and lunches. Professional and kind. My favorite lunch in take out and delivered food. Also have authentic flan. Yum.

Awesome food and service. Small town Louisiana feel, run by super friendly people. My family ordered three large shrimp poboys and they were delicious. A few other customers got fried plantains, which smelled really good and were a big serving, I will have to get them next time.

Update: went back, got their perfect shrimp poboys again, a good bowl of gumbo, amazing fried plantains, and literally the best fried okra I've ever had.

My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years and they never disappoint. I highly recommend the shrimp poboy. But whatever you order. It will be delicious 😋

This place is probably my favorite place to eat in down town Covington. The food is so delicious. The atmosphere is perfect…. Not too over done. The art work that lines the walls by local artists just adds to the whole aesthetics. I love this place so much. The cooks really do go all out.

The food was tasty, fresh, reasonably priced and served quickly considering the long line. Service was good. First time to eat here and I liked it if you don’t mind close tables. The restaurant is tight inside and this is a popular place for the locals to gather and chat over good food. I gave it a 3 for atmosphere because it is very tight with tables and we were right next to the bathroom. Last table left. The parking is gravel and in the rain it was holding water. Don’t wear high heels here! Very kid friendly but not a romantic place. Really friendly staff and funny plaques on the walls to read while you wait for your food. The food was abundant on the plate so you go by and try it! I will go by again!
