“We stumbled upon this establishment on our way to tour while on vacation. What a happy accident! We had tried a seafood restaurant the day before in the French quarter and left a bit disappointed thinking we wouldn't get the great dining experience we were hoping for while in New Orleans, but Restaurant des Familles more than provided. Everything we had was wonderful, not to mention the service was good and the views were lovely. So happy we stopped!”

There’s nothing that compares to it. My husband and I have been here numerous times. On multiple dates, with our parents and with friends. We cannot get enough of this place! “I can’t speak more highly about this Bakery! I have had EVERYTHING and I’m obsessed. They made a giant king cake 3 for my son’s birthday and it was phenomenal. Their day to day chocolate croissants, cookies, and bread have always been top tier. Along with having my favorite traditional king cake they will remain my favorite. 10/10 recommendation.”

“I booked a private party for 25 people for my dad’s 90th birthday. Ms Carol Gales was so easy to deal with and very helpful. On the night of the event everything was as promised. The food was great and the service team was spot on. The whole event went beautifully. I cannot thank you enough. Highly recommend. Also pricing was super reasonable!”

“Inflation is real. I hadn’t been in here in 3 plus years so man oh man have I been living under a rock.

Anyway, the food is still pretty solid (been here several times in the last decade). It’s mildly westernized bc the slice of carrots, radish are pretty thick by Vietnamese standards (note: I was in HCMC back in March 2025—HoChiMinh City). The chargrilled pork was 1/4th charred compared to the motherland but still solid in flavor. $14 for chicken spring rolls? Seemed pricey but they are super thick so not as shocking. I could have ordered two for $7.

Overall, $19 for a plate is pricey for the Westbank and would have thought I was uptown where rent is 2x. Idk. The volume is good for the price but I guess inflation is warping my perception. Overall, I still enjoyed the food and recommend them still esp if this is the new norm.”

“Kelly is the best. I live in Shreveport, but had to do my family reunion events in or around New Orleans. Food Symphony was recommended to me by my cousin. I called Kelly and she got the ball rolling. We had good communication through the planning of my Meet and Greet Event for my family. When I walked into my rented space, I was amazed how beautiful the entire set up was. I had the colors I wanted, and all the foods I had requested. The foods were beyond delicious. My family enjoyed the foods, and can't stop talking about the experience that had in Harvey, Louisiana at the Food Symphony/Timeless Moments Event Hall. Thank you Kelly and Trena. Everything was pleasing.”

“Ordered a birthday cake for myself from here. It was my first time ordering, but I wanted to try and see how I liked it. Ordering was extremely easy and no trouble at all. Service has been incredibly friendly. Pick up was a breeze with absolutely no issues at all. Staff was sweet (pun intended) and I was greeted and assisted quickly. I asked for a baseball themed almond cake with buttercream and dark green writing. I wasn’t able to cut into my cake immediately after getting home, but I was able to a couple of hours later. It is delicious! The cake itself is not overly sweet, but moist and flavorful. The frosting is smooth, not grainy or chunky. Absolutely delicious cake and I will order for them again! I can’t say anything bad about my first experience with Baes Bakery but I will be back for my next birthday cake!”

“Everything I've had so far has been great. A lot of places that serve smoked meats tend to over cook leaving you with bones that splinter apart and dry meat. Not Ribmaster! I've tried the chicken, ribs, brisket, sausage and hot wings and EVERYTHING has been cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back.”

“Stumbled upon this place while running errands with my partner. Everything was delightful. Don’t be dissuaded by the outside in its slight ambiguity. Inside is clean and well lit. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. The two ladies that took our orders were adorably nice. The chef, Kevin (who I figured out his name because when two other people came in they said hi to him by name enthusiastically) was so sweet. He made sure to triple check on some dietary restrictions for my boyfriend. He was incredibly detailed when I asked him about the dish I was enjoying. We had never had Cantonese food before, and it is fantastic. The worst part was just now when I finished my leftovers at home, because the dish is no longer in front of me to enjoy. Sincerely looking forward to trying more things on our next visit. :)”

“Tried this place for the first time, beyond lived up to the hype. They got the 3 most important things right. Great coffee, service, and vibe. I got the pistachio latte as recommended, did not disappoint. The flavor profile was 👌. Very unique taste, 10/10. Plenty of nice new and comfortable furniture to relax. Dudes making the coffee gave first class service. Just a block off of Manhattan and Lapalco, this definitely ain't Starbucks and its definitely my new spot. Lots of other cool stuff, ,Dubai chocolate and other treats. Will be back”
