Contractors beware this man will not pay you. He owes Roundtree's Pest control $ 3500.00 for a year now!

Just had a great meal here. Madeline was our server, she was super friendly and her service was amazing. The catfish was perfectly fried and the Boulettes were awesome. Madeline recommended the fried bell peppers which were really good. The white beans were a little thick but had great flavor. We will be back for sure. Pleasant atmosphere with good Cajun music, very reasonably priced meal with generous portions. And best of all no iodine in the shrimp.

Overpriced below average food and damn sure not true homemade cracklins, more like a bag of pork rinds from the Walmart chip section.Much better food and better prices just a bit down the road at Mama’s Kitchen!

Wow so much to say! This place is such a gem on the bayou. The food is true, authentic Cajun food. My husband has lived on the bayou his entire life and said this is a the only place around here that sticks to its roots. Good, home cooking. No twists and extra things to try and elevate it. It stands all on its own! The decor is so cute! Cajun, down the bayou phrases and photos. Clean! Also plays Cajun music so it really sets up the whole vibe. Okay, the FOOD! We started with the shrimp boulettes, mushroom and Brie soup, and the corn bisque. SO GOOD. Seasoned so well which so many restaurants lack these days!! The boulettes were fried perfectly, not soggy or over greased. For entrees my husband got the "taste of the bayou" which had jambalaya, red beans and rice, and crawfish etouffee. All of them were seasoned perfectly, great sized portions, and just so full of flavor! I got the cochon de lait panini and it was so yummy. The meat was drenched in a tangy sauce and pressed in such yummy bread. I loved it. Came with a side of potato salad but there were also other options. It was so good! Lastly we got the brownie a la mode. It had melted chocolate chips inside and literally melted in your mouth. Didn't get a pic bc we ate it too quickly. Everything was delicious! Also they had the cutest little Cajun menu for the kids. Really great restaurant! Service was amazing from our server Shay. Will definitely be back!

Stopped there today got the Foncock baked potato $15.50 this was my first time there. The food taste good I just didn't feel I got my money's worth with the amount of product they put on it. I feel I should have had at least double of what they put on there and it didn't have any shrimp at all. Shrimp is listed in the description of the dish. Not sure if I will go back or not.
