The owner needs to learn that everyone doesn’t like dogs like him. We ate there Friday night and one of his dogs came to our table and put his head on the table next to my brother in law. We had to call the waiter which in turn called the owner to come and get his dog. Otherwise everything was good just don’t like going out to eat and have a dog sharing my table.
The plantation itself is stunning! The garden is beautiful with lots of artistic surprises along the path. The gift shop has many options and is organized well. The restaurant is open and well decorated. Food choices were appealing with local flair and flavorful. Staff seemed shorthanded but considering the lack of patrons should have been sufficient but service was slow. It only is the Carriage House restaurant great food, it is a beautiful place. From the gift shop through the grounds, it is beautiful in every aspect. Kevin Kelly has done a wonderful job with this resort.
