“One of the best tours we had. The Houmas House is not only charming but it has a welcoming atmosphere. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and passionate about the entire history of the plantation manor. I would return to do the house tour again and allow more time to visit the museum as well.”

Kerry Kelley reached out, listened to our feedback, and kindly catered our dinner last night. Everything was spot-on and absolutely delicious—the food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Highlights included perfectly prepared steak and seafood dishes that reminded us why we’ve loved Mike Anderson’s for years. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and well-packaged, and the overall experience turned our view around completely. It’s clear they take customer satisfaction seriously and go the extra mile to make things right. Thank you to both the Gonzales Prairieville teams for the great recovery—we’re excited to order again and will definitely be back for dine-in soon. Highly recommend giving them another chance if you’ve had an off experience in the past!”

“This place is a hidden gem. I stumbled across it and I'm so glad I did. I went in and they had the fried catfish, red beans and rice. (The rice had chunks of sausage in it) salad and a piece of cake. It was so delicious and flavorful. You need to order early because they will sell out.”
