“I hate the McDonald’s in Donaldsonville so I don’t mind coming to this location. Workers are always nice and doesn’t seem like they hate their job like the dville location food is always fresh and hot no matter morning or evening also they don’t take their time to get you in and out I love this ”

“Overall it was great. I highly recommend making this a regular thing, not just a great meal, but the experience of an incredible garden and grounds that nothing else can beat. The Turtle bar is a must, they have most every type of high end alcohol that exists. The only improvement needed is the wait staff. There's enough staff, they are simply inexperienced and young. Overall, still worth the experience.”

It tastes so similar to the dish I used to get when I was living overseas. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been searching since 2016.Tzatziki is always a must. The baklava? Absolutely stunning. It has to be my favorite I have had to date. Reminds me of my local Mediterranean restaurant I frequented as a kid. The fried cheese was delicious. “I came here because I pass it all the time and go to the same place for my shawarma. I decided to stop in and it was the best decision I could’ve made. The customer service and food was absolutely stellar. The original garlic based white sauce with the shawarma is amazing, and the shrimp pasta I got was also amazing. Let’s please keep this place booked and busy because they deserve it!!!”

“We went to Latils Landing during their winter menu. The food was absolutely one of the top 5 meals I've ever had. And that's saying something as I have been all over the world eating great food. The grouper with wild mushrooms was positively sublime. The lobster and sweet potato bisque with truffle oil was a surprising hit. The use of warm water lobster rather than cold water lobster was inspired. The sweet potato needed no additional sweetness and the lobster added a nice texture to the bisque. The waigu beef rib was positively succulent and tender in a way only properly prepared waigu can be. And the balance of salt, spices, and acids was perfect. I will return when the spring menu starts. I'm curious if the chef can keep this level of gustatory performance up.”

“Well a friend of mine from NOLA recommended this place. He said it was a bit out of my way on the drive back from Baton Rouge back to NOLA, which it was.....I literally drove by this place as I was looking for a large sign/ restaurant parking lot etc....No it's a small building with a drive thru and maybe a walk up window for service. I noticed some picnic tables in front as I drove off.With that said....the food didn't disappoint. We had the ribs, brisket, burnt ends, and chicken wings.Look this understated joint is worth the ride if you are not from the area. Don't sleep on the smoked fried chicken wings, and burnt ends. The sides all have some added spice to them and there's pork tasso in the potato salad....different but I was all in. Actually the pickled onions and pickles had an added flavor as well.”

“Absolutely LOVE the swamp dust. I put it on just about everything. Not only is the seasoning good, Jimmy is also a nice man. Had some issues with an order, card was charged but for some reason the order didn't go through, and he was on top of it and made sure I was getting my order. I will always order my Cajun seasoning from him.”

“This is a good spot for a quick snow cone on a hot day! The kids love stopping here and trying their various flavors. You can also order a cup of vanilla ice cream if your child doesn’t like snow cones. The atmosphere is fun since they have a number of tables and chairs to sit at.”

“Love it. I work close so I go here quite often for lunch or after work. My usuals are the chicken or beef enchiladas but, of course, you'll find all of the dishes you'd expect to find at a Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed with the options or quality of the food here. The couple who own the place are very friendly and personal. Both have made me feel at home and welcomed since my very first visit when it first popped up in the area. From my experiences there, there seem to be a lot of regulars and a most of diners seem to know each other and have gotten to know the owners well from frequenting the restaurant so often which should tell you something about the quality of the food and feel of the place. There are lunch specials but the prices on the regular menu aren't that bad either. I don't think I've ever paid over $20 for my meal and a drink which includes chips and salsa, so you can't complain about that. I've never had an adult beverage there since I'm mostly going midday during work but there is a bar there and if I come later people are often enjoying margaritas and such. Yes. Definitely go support this local business if you're in the mood for Mexican food. Not sure how close it is to do everyone else in that area but it would be worth a little drive as well. For me it's great to have an option for lunch, besides Subway or the Chinese place in that same shopping center. Looking forward to my next visit!”
