I asked for vanilla ice cream with caramel they told me rudely for the size I wanted that they would have to turn it into a concrete….i literally asked them the sizes available for vanilla ice cream with caramel and then they said I needed to get a sundae if I didn’t want it mixed in…. Turned a simple order into confusion…then I went again today thinking maybe it was just a bad day for them the they tell me I can’t even get ice cream at this location because the systems were down um it’s 2:00pm on a Sunday like what?
After eating lunch at a nearby restaurant, we walked up to a service window and saw a man inside. He said something to us but we couldn’t hear because the service window was closed. We then just stood there for 2-3 minutes and realized we were being ignored, so we left. The time was around noon, after opening time there. This is the Andy’s Frozen Custard on Juban Road in Denham Springs. Don’t waste your time going there.
Boot Daddy (funny as the name is) is genuinely one of the best things I've had in a while
Chocolate espresso is the best.
I have photos but I jsut ordered a kids size custard with brownie and cheesecake topping. It was 7.40 for two tablespoons of custard with hardly any topping I am literally in shock no lie!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!! What a disappointment
My son (4) wanted 1 scoop of vanilla and 1 scoop chocolate. Add sprinkles. How hard is that? Not. I was told that they have to change it to a Sunday to add sprinkles and could only do 1 flavor...ohhhhkay. We get chocolate. I order a pint of chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough, get back to our hotel to find that mine is just chocolate. I got a big ol pint of wrong. We were the only car in line...we only had 4 items.
The custard is amazing and the service is always great.

Cute walk up frozen custard place. They were out of waffle cones, so we had to get something different. It was a nice frozen treat but we wouldn't rave about it or go out of my way for it.

They go overboard with the pecans in their Sundae. I ordered a Sundae without pecans and they still put pecans in it. I had to puck them put. It wouldn't be as bad if it were just a little sprinkle on top but they consume the Sundae in them where you taste mostly pecans. I'm not deathly allergic to pecans but they do cause me to have a minor allergic reaction that is still uncomfortable to deal with. They need to pay more attention to orders dealing with nuts and at least not put so much pecans.

I've never tried crack, but if crack was a dessert, Andy's would be the best trap house for miles. Try the frozen custard once, and you will never go to a DQ or any other ice cream place again. Friendly service, amazing menu names and ideas. Bonus points for staying open really late. The car show meet ups there are amazing and fun to bring the family to.

Waiting........no one acknowledgement. Employee ignores while you just stand at the window. At least let us know you see us and it would be a few minutes. But nothing. We just left . Will definitely not be back . The reviews should've been enough to stay away.
