Geisha, Sushi With a Flair - Denham Springs

Today I ate at Geisha for the first time. I am not from the area. Haley was my server, she was fantastic! I can' t wait to come back next time!

Best sushi in Denham Springs, much better than Asahi. If you go make sure you ask for an Asian girl named "Anna" because she went above and beyond for every of her tables and made my first experience here exceptional. Thank you so much ♥️

This is not an fancy place but they offer some more upscale sushi options than your run-of-the-mill sushi restaurants such as uni(sea urchin). They also have some unique roles that I have not seen at other sushi restaurants . Some even included chicken, beef, and pork options. Not something I would want to try but they did sound interesting.

Spicy tuna hand roll tasted less than fresh. Tuna, salmon & red snapper were not very tasty and cut was not high quality. Can not recommend.

Used to be my sushi spot before the shutdown. Since it’s been hit or miss. Two visits ago was served raw seared scallops and cook didn’t understand that the meat turns white when cooked ?‍♂️. Last visit samurai roll was topped with half sliced and half spicy when it’s only supposed to have spicy tuna. Had to look back at the menu because it just didn’t taste like it should

Sushi was quick and fresh. Had a meeting there, and because it was not too loud inside the restaurant, everyone could easily be heard. We will be back.

The atmosphere was very nice.They were very accommodating to our group of five. One of the patrons had a service dog very close to the table that we were going to be initially seated at. The hostess wasn't really trying to relocate us to another table.l, stating that the other table was very larger parties. However, the manager recognized our hesitant manner and offered to move us. I'm not against service animals in an establishment, but I personally don't like to eat around them.

Parking: No problem locating parking
