This restaurant has been here for many years, but recently changed owners. We checked it out today and it was awesome! We didn't even look at the Mexican menu, we looked at their authentic Honduran menu! Omg! Everything is fantastic! But, they've also kept some of Maria's recipes for fans of those items! Service was phenomenal! Food was fantastic! Atmosphere is the same friendly place! Go, go, go!
It's definitely not the pre pandemic Maria's. That Maria's food was great, which was what brought me back, but that Maria's would never let my drink sat empty on the edge of the table for 20 minutes without checking if I need a refill. They also wouldn't have put Pico all over my tacos when I asked for it on the side. The service was not good by any means, and that made the visits not good. Service was absolutely amazing, you'll never have to worry about asking for a drink refill or more chips and salsa, the food came out quick and was definitely fresh, and the price isn't bad at all for the quality and quantity of food you get.
