Opokè is amazing. I’ve had poke in San Diego, Hawaii, Seattle, and Boston, all cities famous for seafood, and this place still ranks easily in my top five. I can not believe it’s in Denham springs Louisiana. The fish was fresh, the ingredients crisp, and the portion was huge. Every bite tasted clean and balanced.
I travel often for work and go out of my way to find good poke wherever I am, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about Opokè in my own backyard sooner.

Went to OPoke for the first time and was highly satisfied! The food is absolutely delicious (very generous portions) and less expensive than some poke places. The service was very quick and the lady working was so sweet! Also they have probably one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve been inside of at a restaurant! If I’m in denham springs again, I 10/10 want to come back!
I wanted a Poke bowl at 9pm and felt bad that I was going right before close, but the owner was so welcoming and sweet! She made suggestions and the food was delicious!! It was a lot too, so worth the price. I’ll definitely be back, and will try the hibachi next time!
