Philly Me Up Denham

I eat at the Baton Rouge location several times a month for the past several years. Probably (3-5) times. I can’t think of one time I haven’t been pleased with the service or the food. However this is not the case with this location. I have probably eaten at this location 7 to 8 times since they have opened and I’m sad to say I won’t be back. The consistency on flavor and size portions is just not here and I would say at least half of these visits they made my order wrong. Side note almost everything on their menu is more expensive then Baton Rouge location which I don’t really have a problem with because I’m sure their rent, due to location is probably higher but at least have the same size portions. Hoping something changes at this location but until then I will gladly drive past denham springs and go to Baton Rouge to get my cheese steak fix just as I did today!

Wonderful meal!!! Had the shroom with onion rings and some chipotle mayo!!! Very delicious and quick!!!! Loved every bite and want to try the voodoo next time and some fries!!! So so good!!! Tea was great too!!!

I was a huge fan of the Philly Me Up restaurant located off Jefferson for years, so now that it’s closer to home.. I’m thrilled. Everything is cooked fresh and custom orders welcome. It could be said that I’m just boosting my daughter’s business but I knew the staff in Baton Rouge by name because of how often I went there. 10/10 recommend!!! My favorite is the Cajun with the sweet potato tots .. then a small cotten candy Philly Ice to balance it all out. Yummmm

The Very Best!! They made a custom cheese steak for me... Can't wait for Ranger's Buffalo Chicken to hit the menu.....

I went there 3x food was good 3/3. The cook knows who I am and what I want. Exceptional service. 10/10 would recommend

Was skeptical, since additional locations don’t compare to the original, but they did not disappoint! The food was fresh hot and fast, and most importantly, delicious!

I loveee the Philly Me Up in BR so I was super excited to try this one with it being so close. The food is really good but the service is bad. They had gave me fries instead of onion rings like I had ordered. And when I went up there to switch them out they treated it like a huge problem for some reason. I wasn’t mad about it either because it wasn’t that big of a deal. The manager had came out of the office and told me to keep the fries then changed his mind and took them back. It was just a very weird exchange and atmosphere to be in so I left with my food instead of dining in. Very sad cause I was excited about this place :(

As someone who has ate cheese steak in Philly this was as close to the real deal as they come. To stay authentic I got the original no white cheese add cheese whiz. That how all the places in Philly served them. Also FYI for southerners real cheese steak does not have bell peppers so I took this option as it didn't have them. Service was amazing, and this was the best cheese steak I have had outside Philly hands down.
