My first time trying Redbird. I really loved the Rooster rolls, the man that waited on me was polite and got my order correct. Pricing was fair and I had my food within a few minutes. I will be returning again when I am ready for more fried chicken.

Very overpriced! Spent 15 bucks and didnt even get full. scam and rip off. ordered a 3 piece and got 1 and a halfs worth. mashed potatoes was 1 spoonful. never going back!

We got our food to go. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. It was our first time but it definitely will not be our last. We enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries. My husband sampled red beans and gumbo. Everything was well seasoned!!!! Job well done!

The chicken nuggets were amazing. I also ordered the 2 pc dark spicy chicken which was great as well, Hot and fresh and juicy. Prices are very cheap and the food is fantastic. I hardly ever do food reviews of any place or restaurant but this place is great. I live 45- 1 hour away and I’d def be back.

Really good chicken, but business has had A/C down for a couple days. They should close while doing the necessary repairs so their employees aren't baking inside!

Lady at drive thru was rude and disrespectful..HORRIBLE customer service…the absolute worst attitude I’ve ever experienced!! Food was really good but I wouldn’t go again due to employee.

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning

My husband and I were really looking forward to trying Red Bird Fried Chicken, but our experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

When we walked in, it was uncomfortably hot inside—easily around 85 degrees. No one greeted us. The woman at the counter was completely disengaged, staring at her phone and barely acknowledging us. When we asked simple questions about the menu—like what the Asian sauce tasted like or whether the shrimp was Gulf or imported—she laughed and said she’d never tried anything on the menu.

I ordered the signature chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes. The sandwich was small, just two chicken tenders and a little sauce. The mashed potatoes were cold, clearly instant, with a small drizzle of gravy. They were so bad I couldn’t eat them.

My husband also ordered a signature chicken sandwich with fries. When our order was finally ready, they only gave us the fries. We told them we had ordered two sandwiches, and the woman just shrugged and said she only heard fries—no apology, no offer to fix it. So we left with only one sandwich between us.

We waited about 20 minutes for the chicken sandwich, and we were the only people in the restaurant—aside from an elderly couple who came in about 10 minutes after us. Despite the empty dining room, the service was slow and careless. When our food was ready, they just set it on the counter without a word. No “here you go,” no “thank you,” and no acknowledgment as we left.

Between the poor service, lack of basic customer courtesy, and subpar food, this was an all-around disappointing experience. We won’t be going back.

Decided to try this after meeting the manager (Phil?) at the capital one. Did not disappoint. Chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection, juicy and crispy. Paired perfectly with the smoked ketchup though honestly it didn't need sauce. Will definitely be going back and recommending to everyone!

I will be eating here again. They promised home cooked quality and they delivered on that. Crispy and juicy. 3 piece combo had enough fries to feed a family of 4 lol. Better prices than the big chicken chains. As for the service, I could see the workers took pride in their food and service before I even saw the menu. I didn't go inside so 3/5 on atmosphere.

I came here in the afternoon and there was 1 table eating food and 1 person in front of me ordering. I ordered 2 chicken tenders and a drink. After waiting 15 minutes I noticed people ordering food after me and getting their food. I was starting to get upset. I waited 10 more minutes and finally told the cashier to give me my money back. 25 minutes and you can't get 2 chicken tenders out. I will not return.
