“First time trying the Chicken Depot today. We ordered the Family tender 20 piece and thought the price was a little high. We'll, when they brought out the food, we figured out why the price was high. These are the biggest juiciest tenders I've ever had and will be having for the next couple of days! Well worth the price! Hot fresh and delicious.”

“This place is truly one of my favorites. Melissa, the owner, is the BEST! The service is top notch and the employees are some of the best people you’ll ever meet. The teas/shakes/waffles/protein balls/parfaits etc are soooo delicious! 😋 There are so many flavors and options to choose from. I cannot recommend Golden Nutrition enough.”

“This cool drive thru offers some of the best boiled crawfish I’ve eaten at restaurants or stop-and-go boiled seafood places. Shrimp was good too. Excited to see they offered all the sides like we cook when we do our crawfish boils at home. We were also surprised the sauce was normal crawfish dip. It seems every place nowadays has to put some weird spin on crawfish dip and winds up throwing everything off.

Service was fast even though there were about 8 cars in line waiting to go through the drive thru to order.

A side note, they also sell live crawfish and posted signage on the window currently said $2.29 per pound.”

“We come to Louisiana once a year and usually have a large family gathering at Los Mayas. We went last night with a party of 17 with a few children, our waitress seemed very over whelmed and was a bit rude even though she had plenty of support staff to assist her, the food was good however lots of confusion when the meals came out. Their kids menu features a cheese quesadilla with rice & beans or fries, we asked the waitress do they offer a kids chicken quesadilla she said yes and asked did we want fajita chicken or shredded, we asked for shredded chicken, however she failed to tell us that there was onions and peppers in their chicken, not sure why they would think a child would want onions and peppers; when the meals came out she brought us 2 cheese quesadillas we should have just kept. I don't think we will be back the food and drinks where good but again lots of mix up with our food and other members in our party having food issues. DeRidder has a bunch of other Mexican restaurants we go to Los Mayas as they can accommodate a larger crowd. My aunt and uncle used to go there all the time and have many issues so they don't eat there anymore as well, they are locals.”

“Lovely team that goes above and beyond to make sure your cake is special 🙂 Lacey took my husband’s basic chocolate-on-chocolate cake and decorated it in his Alma Mater’s colors, he was quite surprised and tickled by it 🤗 Everything is made fresh and it shows! Tastes so so good - everyone we shared it with (brought it to Texas for a little family party and the leftovers went to his crew at work back here!) and all were asking where it was from. I’ll be going back to Lou’s Lou’s to not only place more cake orders for future celebrations but to try other desserts too! Had a strawberry cupcake with strawberry icing while on the road and it brought back memories of being a kid again 🥹 I saw they have macarons so that’s next for me! They offer food options as well so lunch or dinner at Lou Lou’s also is on the list. If you are about supporting local business, great taste/flavor and value - consider Lou-Lou’s! 🧁”

“Me and my mom went here not long ago and I loved it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was like being at home, and the staff were a delight. So if you are even traveling through DeRidder I suggest you give this place a try. We had a great time and enjoyed ourself on our mother daughter day. The onions rings were our favorite but everything was great.”

“The size states 14 inch for a large. Nope, not true, just about 10 inches. The pizza is slimy and gooey, absolutely disgusting. Save your money, will never purchase again. I do not recommend this pizza.🤮”

“We tried Two Sisters for lunch today and will definitely be back. We loved the Cajun turkey sandwich, gumbo, potato soup and potato salad, with the gumbo being our favorite. Service was fast and friendly and it’s such a cute restaurant!”
