I’m not sure if the server knew I was new to Puerto Rican food, but he thoroughly explained the menu and provided a recommendation, which was amazing! My husband and I both enjoyed our main dishes and had a empanada…which was to die for! The price was also very reasonable. We will definitely be back!”

“Ms. Cousins has been running her small business for over 20 years. When we dine in, there are constantly old customers who stop in after 5-10-15-20-25 years and are so thankful she is still open! She knows exactly what my family wants as soon as we walk in. I get the bimbimbop, cucumber kimchi, and radish kimchi and it is delicious! I recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic Korean food made by a woman who truly cares! It is cash only, so stop at the ATM before going. Enjoy!”

The Cajun mac and cheese and jambalaya were delicious, and the red velvet cheesecake was the perfect finish. The portions are big—I still have more than half left! You are then welcomed by the establishment pool shark/bartender Jimmy. Distinguished gentleman who promptly takes your beverage order. Wanda, owner/better half of the self proclaimed pool shark welcomes you in by with such warmth and genuine love. If that’s not enough welcome for you, the establishment chef (aka “Auntie”) will gladly take your order for some good ol’ tasty vittles! My German Shepherd (Princess) who is almost 3 years old and I have been training since she was a puppy was very well behaved when one of the employees brought all the food out.
The employee had offered a treat for my well behaved puppy dog and I had accepted it so my puppy is not left out.
Definitely one of the best sonics I have ever been to compared to others in Texas, New Mexico, Oaklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. I rate this #4/100”
