“Northern Minnesota family here for our grade-schooler's spring break and a visit with our friends who live in DeRidder now.
Having never eaten crawfish before, we didn't know what to expect. Our local hosts recommended Crawfish to Go. We got the Cajun Family Dinner and a few extras. Ordering and pickup at the window was easy and we got a quick tutorial on how to eat the crawfish. Our children are starting to explore new flavors and it was fun to watch them dig in, snapping, and peeling; their eyes growing wide at the first taste. Our experience was 1st Rate! The proprietors were super friendly and patient with us. We all enjoyed the process and thought the food was amazing!”

“We come to Louisiana once a year and usually have a large family gathering at Los Mayas. We went last night with a party of 17 with a few children, our waitress seemed very over whelmed and was a bit rude even though she had plenty of support staff to assist her, the food was good however lots of confusion when the meals came out. Their kids menu features a cheese quesadilla with rice & beans or fries, we asked the waitress do they offer a kids chicken quesadilla she said yes and asked did we want fajita chicken or shredded, we asked for shredded chicken, however she failed to tell us that there was onions and peppers in their chicken, not sure why they would think a child would want onions and peppers; when the meals came out she brought us 2 cheese quesadillas we should have just kept. I don't think we will be back the food and drinks where good but again lots of mix up with our food and other members in our party having food issues. DeRidder has a bunch of other Mexican restaurants we go to Los Mayas as they can accommodate a larger crowd. My aunt and uncle used to go there all the time and have many issues so they don't eat there anymore as well, they are locals.”

I didn’t get the man’s name, but the woman’s name is Allison and I just want to say they both were genuinely so nice. My card fell to the ground in the drive through and mrs. Allison came in the rain to pick it up. If y’all get them make sure y’all wish them the best day❤️ they made my morning.”

“Today in the drive thru I handed my child their burger which accidentally got dropped. When grandma got out of the car to help the burger fell out of the car and onto the concrete. It was a fluke accident but the burger wash trash at that point. My child felt so bad and had big tears. I felt bad for my child knowing accidents happen and this one had never happened before. So I asked the employee if they could ring me up for another one and I’d be willing to pull up and wait. Maybe they saw what happened I don’t know but they said don’t worry about it we will make you another one. I couldn’t believe it. That was so very kind!! Thanks DeRidder Whataburger!”
