Nice Laid back, family friendly place. Been eating here my whole life and its always been pretty good. Service is usually great. Ran into a few issues recently such as lost orders and such but nothing bad. Will be returning friday night for my grandpa's 90th birthday!

Horrible service by a red head who looked like she had never cracked a smile in her life. Major attitude 😒 🙄 Food was NOT fresh. Salad bar was disgusting 🫣 GO to Steamboat Bill's instead yall this place has went downhill!!!!

This was my first visit. Asked server the size of pieces of catfish to determine how many pieces to order. Her demonstration was accurate, but what she doesn't tell you is ITS ALL BREADING! The paper-thin piece of fish was surrounded by all breading. One of my companions had burned hush puppies. I definitely will not go back.

The food (catfish) was delicious!! The waitress seemed spaced out--did not give very good service. She forgot to bring what we needed to get started: silverware, our salad bar bowls, iced tea, condiments for our baked potatoes. And then she'd forget to bring whatever we'd asked for as we were eating. Very annoying.

Decent looking place but the "catfish" isnt catfish as you know it. It has to be Swai (Vietnamese catfish)because that IS NOT USDA farm raised catfish that we are all used to. Tarter sauce was more mayo than anything and had zero flavor. Fries werent bad but on a $18 plate of not catfish there were literally 12 fries. One trip salad bar with a 8oz bowl isnt worth your energy. Terrible food and misrepresented items are not a good business practice. Read the menu pictures attached and decide if my post is accurate as its states the shrimp is imported but just "catfish" when describing "the catfish". Will not return. The hush puppies were about the only thing they had worth writing home over.

Took a moment to get seated as we had a larger party, but we understood as they had a holiday party going as well. Waitress was on her A game and was able to joke back with us. Food was good.
if you like fried food maybe. all fish and shrimp dry. bake potato ok -- salad bar nice however small portion. noise level high.

Recently visited this restaurant on a trip to DeRidder. They have daily lunch specials, so we went with that. Everything on the salad bar was fresh. We had the Fried Fish & Shrimp Combo. Everything came out hot & delicious. The fish was fried perfectly. The portions were not big, but they were just enough. The sweet tea that comes with the lunch special was good as well. We enjoyed our meal and will visit again😋
