Nice place. Real nice atmosphere. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but not the worst. Waitstaff was friendly, but maybe a bit under staffed for our wedding crowd. The food is good, with the exception of the oysters. They were tiny, and over cooked. Shrimp were just right.

Our first time here, my husband got fettuccine alfredo and I got the Opelousas. It was so flavorful, seasoned well and delicious but about an hour later we both ended up getting sick. It was the only thing we ate since we don’t eat breakfast so we’re certain it was from the food there. Won’t be back for a bit which is a shame because the service and atmosphere were great.

Ordered grilled shrimp po boy with fries, it was delicious! The bread was crispy, not hard while the shrimp was flavorful. I will come back again for it, it was the best!

Yet another update: TREVOR WAS HILARIOUS AND FANTASTIC. Our food was almost toooo perfect. We appreciate and love our Cecil's! P.s. Hiii, Miss Sonya!💛 Another update: Again, my order was perfect. Only downside was making a reservation, and the staff didn't alert that their AC was out, in Louisiana, in the middle of June, and I heard my friends complain the whole time. UPDATE: MY whole Families' orders were perfect, and steak was perfectly cooked! We had an amazing waitress, too. I believe her name was Elizabeth, or Isabelle? Anyway, my Family and I loved it!!💖💖💖💖🙌🙌🙌 Always amazing times and service. With LIVE music!

It was a medium sized group gathering for lunch. The second half of the restaurant was reserved. The Waiting Staff was ready for us. As the drinks and appetizers were delivered to our table, our 'main course' orders, were placed shortly after. Building convered from what I can guess was some sort of factory. We'll remodeled with the spirit and appreciation to sports. Very casual. Perfect for quick bites and drinks for lunch or dinner.

Day-um, Cecil! Way to whip up a tasty batch. We drove to Deridder from Lake Charles to give this place a try, and it will now be on the rotation of favorite places to go. Everything was excellent 👌 the food, the service, even my mixed drink was divine! The steak was cooked to perfection, the red beans & rice were richly flavored, and s anytime I get asked how I want my burger cooked, I'm in because it means that's fresh beef. Oh, and it's it necessary to put cinnamon & sugar on sweet potatoes? No, but is it a welcome surprise? You bet it is!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cecil’s Cajun Kitchen is an absolute gem! The food was outstanding—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. On top of that, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had that authentic Cajun charm that made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious meal and a great time!
