We went in this evening to get something to eat we were out Christmas shopping and the girl that brought our food to the table was soooo extremely rude. She had a red sweater with white Christmas trees on it. She slammed our food down on the table and just walked off like no big deal we smiled as she was bringing it up and we were really polite to her . She was like this every time she brought food out to someone.

The first time my wife and I ate here at Double D we had a memorable experience. The steaks were perfect, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was my kind of place. Friendly and a little rustic. I waited to review this place,because I wanted to see if a second visit would measure up to the first.
Three weeks after our first visit, we drove the thirty miles over and dined again. I had the rib eye steak, baked potato, and corn on the cob. Again, the food was perfectly prepared. Service was awesome. This is one of my absolute favorite steakhouses. Ever. Do yourself a favor, and visit them.

To be my first time visiting this restaurant, I was not impressed. The service was not on point- the waiter we had did NOT visit ? the table but about 3 times and last time is because I specifically asked him to come. Waited for about an hour and 15 to get the food, I guess, especially when it comes to a steak. Me and my friend basically talked, and that made it fun. ?. Our rolls had a strand of hair on it. SMH. I guess I will give it another try one day

Stood there at the front desk watching people walk by (owner included)...and a young man actively engaged in his phone. Shook the owner's hand and left. I generally think they have good food but I was in twice...once to order lunch and once to have dinner. In both instances, a glazed looked and flagged someone down to ask if I could place an order...and 2nd event, if we could be seated.
Dietary restrictions: If you want just vegetables...they can accommodate
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families come with children
Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps to help people

I would not recommend this place. We waited a while before anyone greeted us, and then the greeter did not seem pleased when she saw us. It was almost too dark to read the menu. The food was too expensive for the quality. And the walls were cluttered.

Double D Steak House is one of the best steak houses I've ate at in quite a while!! Not only was the service there great but the food was too! Everything came out in a timely manner and our drinks were never empty. We definitely recommend to stop and eat here if you're near cause you sure won't regret it!!
