Los Mayas Mexican Restuarant

Do not go often to LosMayas as I do not live in DeRidder but the few times I have been there, food and service have been good. This time, got the enchiladas and they were great. In the past, have gotten the chimi and it was good too.

The last 3 times we have eaten here were bad. Usually we get a full order of the Nachos Americana. The last 2 times they had no beans so we had to ask for them. This time we tried the chicken Quesadillas.
We had 2 pieces of onion and pepper, very stringy chicken, no cheese and no flavor and lukewarm.
I sent mine back for the onion and peppers to be added. I don't know what has changed here, but it wasn't for the better. These 2 meals use to be very good. Not anymore.

Love love love this place. Food is always fresh and great. You never have to wait longer than 5 minz to get your food. Music is always enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place.

No clue why someone mentioned it was “dirty.” I’ve been there several times, & never once was the restaurant dirty. The service is always great! My family loves this restaurant.

Disgusting. Health inspector needs a visit. I challenge you to a cook off. My 5 year old can make better food than this. I suggest the following:
-Learn to follow proper food safety, as much of the food is expired and not stored correctly so is bacteria prone.
-needs to clean restaurant is made on dirty tables.
-needs to find inspiration because it was bland and gave me diheareah for 4 days.

Took a while to get the drinks but the server was really busy. The food was good but the margaritas tasted like it was only mixer and no alcohol whatsoever.

Overall, food is consistently delicious! Service is incredible. Los Mayas is an awesome Mexican restaurant to gather with friends or to bring your kiddos (even if yours tend to embarrass you in public, like mine ?)! There is a variety of menu options for adults and kiddos alike. The staff is patient and accommodating. Perfect place to gather with family and friends!!!!

Parking: Plenty of parking, for both those utilizing handicap parking spaces as well as other drivers. The parking lot has a major dip when you enter it, so if you're in a smaller vehicle or anything low to the ground, be sure to pull into the parking lot slowly ?

Kid-friendliness: Waiters are always friendly and accommodating with kids! Definitely a great feature for parents wanting to have a delicious but speedy meal, in case your littles are in need of a nap!

We love los mayas! We have been many times and every time I leave I say the same thing.. that was a good choice! Lol ? they have the best servers, many that have worked there for a long time. They food always comes out quickly and a great price! Only lacking thing for me is the salsa it's not my favorite but it's still good.
