Shyrine's Turo-Turo

Went to their new location in Leesville right outside the Fort Polk gates. Kept hearing how good they were and was not disappointed. I got the 3 meat plate with the Asian Sticky Wings, Spicy Ribs, and Pork Katsu. The 3 meat plate comes with pancit and 2 lumpia already, but I couldn't leave without more so got a 12piece to share with co-workers.

The wings were perfectly fried, good breading, the sauce was perfection, not too spicy but had a nice kick to it. The Spicy Ribs were more of Spiced, not Spicy, a curry if you will. Oh so tender, melting every bite. And the Pork Katsu was so juicy.

Now the Lumpia. I know that's what y'all are trying to get to. I need a tray. I need 2 trays. They were perfectly crispy, the filling was delicious. I'm not sharing next time. Will probably see if I can get a tray or 2 for our company thanksgiving potluck.

My daughter and I ate there for the very 1st time today. The food was INCREDIBLE. Cooked fresh, very generous portions. Fantastic service. Highly recommend. 10 across the board.

Always delicious food, my absolute favorite is the Beef Caldereta. The staff are always so friendly like you're apart of the family. The lumpia is always addicting.

Ordered a 3 meat plate. All plates come with two Lumpia, pancit and rice. We had the wings, garlic shrimp, and chicken katsu. We were greeted by J.C and he was very welcoming, he described the ordering process, similar to subway very simple & straight to the point. Met one of the co-owners as we were dining in, Daisy. She is a wonderful Person. So many nice things to say, shes extremely friendly, made me feel at home, with family. My husband and I love supporting small family owned businesses and hope this one thrives.

I have been to the Philippines many times so I drove a hour and a half to check it out it well worth the drive very nice and helpful guys working in the front the caldareta was excellent as well as everything else specially the Shanghai rolls salamat po very nice restaurant I will definitely visit again !!

In town visiting family over spring break and we got some adobo, garlic shrimp and my absolute favorite dessert Halo-Halo! The food was delicious and the staff were very kind and funny. Thank you for a great experience! Just the way my Filipino friends make it so it was just like home!

The photos of the food on Google are deceiving. The only food freshly made when we got there at 5PM was the chicken katsu. I grew up on Oahu and have eaten plenty of Filipino food. No one puts pineapple in adobo (pork or chicken) in Hawaii - ruined the whole dish. The lumpia was hard as a rock and had been sitting for a while. The pancit was bland. Shocked there weren’t more options and that the bulk of the menu was just sitting in warming trays (and looked like it had been for hours). The server / cashier complained about us walking in with boots on since he’d have to clean the floor - we’d been working outside for the past 10 hours man, all we wanted was some good food.

Freakin Delicious! The service was quick, staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
I had the Pork Katsu and the pork was juicy and tender and very good.
