This little motel hosted our group of +26 bicyclists during our ride across America. Expect your average no frills but clean motel, with friendly staff who accommodated our needs by offering a hose to clean our bikes and allowing us all to Keep bicycles inside the room. Guest laundry area was well kept and clean , and I recommend this place if you are riding the Southern Tier

We stayed here for one night during a 3 week bicycle trip across Texas and Louisiana. It was one of the nicest motels we stayed in. The lobby/breakfast area was clean and the breakfast was hot, good quality, and had a lot of variety. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had a housekeeping issue upon arrival but it was quickly taken care of.

The hotel quality is okay, but if you have a simple problem that needs to be fixed, forget about it. I’ve been a Choice member since 2011, this hotel is the reason I won’t be anymore. They wouldn’t allow me to do something that I’ve done for 11 years and offered no reason why or solutions.

I hadn’t noticed the top sheet had blood on it the night due to the way the sheet was tucked and folded beneath the comforter. When I woke up I was shocked! The Management never came to look at the sheet, upon discussion the Manager told me I was complaining and next time to stay at another Hotel!!! I was shocked after being a Medical Assistant and Small Business Owner for over 30 year’s! She was extremely unpleasant! I have many pictures, this will be reported to the Business Bureau, as well as The Health Department
