Somehow the Stadium Sports Grill and Presley's are intermingled on the internet. Google led us to Presley's but it was called Stadium in person. Anyway, this place was okay. Our waitress was very nice but the food took a long time and they weren't very busy. I ordered the classic cheeseburger and it was just okay. It was obviously a frozen meat patty on a bun that was too big for it (by a lot). The fries were underdone and the whole meal was just warm (not cooked fresh hot). I wouldn't order it again. However, my two companions ordered chicken fried steak/fried okra and fried fish platter and they said it was very, very good. So maybe just stay away from the burgers.

As always my Brother, Nephew and I go in here for breakfast every Saturday morning. Usually the service is pretty good, sometimes not so much. Today was not so much. Our waitress (Hope) is either new at this or just has a hearing problem. I ordered the Pancakes and Bacon breakfast, with NO syrup, Butter only! I received the pancakes (no bacon, hardly any butter and a big dish of syrup) I requested more butter and got a couple of frozen pats of margarine. No bacon... Nephew got the Cajun breakfast bowl with a soft fried egg (he ordered over hard) plus he ordered a Diet Dr. Pepper and got regular Dr. Pepper. We also told her that my check was separate, so she gave us 3 separate checks. I was charged for 2 individual pancakes which cost about as much as the pancake/bacon breakfast. With that said, a BIG Thank you goes to Amber (cook) for getting the food part straightened around and to the others for getting our tickets right. If they were really busy I'd understand, but with only about 3 small tables waiting this is not right. I know they're are other places in town to eat at, but I choose to go here because for the most part the food is good and the Staff are friendly, they know us.

When we walked in we were greeted and was told to pick a seat. After we sat down it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and ask what we wanted drink. How are you going to tell us to pick a seat when no one is waiting the table we sat at? One person walked in at the same time as my family and was greeted, offered coffee and got his order taken. Another couple walked in maybe 10-20 minutes after we did, was greeted, ordered drinks and their breakfast and left before we even got our food. Absolutely ridiculous. My 5 year old son was hungry and kept asking when his food would come when we haven't even gotten our order taken. After almost an hour, we finally got our order in and it came back wrong. Even when they have all this time, they still get the order wrong. We got no apologies, and no table touching. Everyone around us had waiters engaging in conversation and asking if everything was alright, but they were just ignoring us. We moved to this town due to military and I thought everyone was so kind here until coming into this restaurant. I was so disappointed. Right when we stepped foot into the Waffle Shoppe, we felt so welcomed, all the waitresses were so kind and engaging with my son and family. So I think we'll be sticking to them from now on. Please work on your customer service. Unless you're a local or know someone that works there, you are not their priority.

I have tried The Stadium twice now and was disappointed both times. The first time my husband and I both got the pancake breakfast and the pancakes were raw in the middle. The second time everyone's breakfast was ice cold. We had each ordered extra crispy bacon but none of us received that. I took one bite and could not chew it because it was so undercooked. When I asked the waitress if I could have the crispy bacon I ordered, she said she was not sure and would ask. Then she came back to the table with a paper cup and asked me to put the bacon in the cup so they could finish cooking it. I told her I had already touched it and taken a bite and she said it's ok. I asked her if they were really going to recook bacon I had touched and put in my mouth while we are in the middle of the Covid pandemic and she blushed and said it would be new bacon. She returned minutes later with crispy bacon that was missing the bite I had taken. I would not go here for the lack of food safety alone.

For the most part the food at Stadium in DeRidder, La. is good but a lot of waitresses need to take a course on waitressing 101. The places where they work need to work on their attitudes to customers. I know the pay isn't always the greatest but a smile and a half way cheery look on their faces is needed. And care taken to placing the food in front of the people, greeting the people. Most important is Smile at people

Back again and things have definitely improved. Unfortunately in the wrong direction. I was greeted kindly which is always welcoming. I took my seat at a small table so I wouldn't occupy a larger table due to being a party of 1. At the time I took my seat the restaurant appeared to be occupied at 40%, of course this is just a quick snap shot as more than half the tables were empty. I was pleased to see new faces working however it was very evident they were struggling. A few more parties arrived and I knew I was in for a long wait. HOWEVER I came prepared, I brought a book. 15 minutes after being seated and requesting my drink, my coffee arrived, 9 minutes later I received creamer. Solution: drink very slow. It's now been 42 minutes since sitting. Down and I have finally placed my breakfast order....however they are shutting down breakfast and moving onto lunch..... I'm sure you get the picture. My coffee refill is still pending, seats have emptied out and occupancy is even less than when I first arrived. I've stopped reading and now I'm watching the news about more hurricanes brewing up in the Atlantic. (I wonder if my coffee will arrive before the next hurricane).

We eat here pretty frequently. Tonight we had a large table of 16. Food was great and so was the service.

I cannot even BEGIN to describe the amazing food here, y'all! Oh my word.. Miss Sherrie is the main cook, and when I say she is amazing---she is even better than that. She makes each sandwich, chicken fried steak, etc., puts her own spin on it, and makes it into something more delicious! We've eaten there many times now, we're going back today for lunch and I'm sure another day this week. Y'all. Go check out this food. The staff are friendly and indelible, as well! Not to mention the salad bar is always clean and full---plus, they have homemade buttermilk ranch, which always gets an extra star in my book. THANK YOU, THE STADIUM, Y'ALL ARE MY FAVORITE! T. Downhill....will never see my business again...major disappointment. Unless you order from the kids menu, don't expect to get any chips, fries, pickle spear, nothing with a sandwich for $6.99

Thought we'd try the place. Sports bar and grill. No bartender, ordered a margarita, and it tasted like a drink mix from Walmart. Way to sweet. finished half the drink before I had to quit. I ordered the wings with Sriracha and it came with Sweet Thai Chili. So there's room for improvement.
