This boba place is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so I was honestly surprised to find it here. But the drinks are really good. I’m a tourist from Houston and stopped by on a Wednesday when they had BOGO drinks and even gave out a cute blind bag. The menu is huge with so many options to choose from. They only have outdoor seating, but I didn’t mind, it actually felt really peaceful. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

If you need a morning kick, an afternoon pick me up or an evening dessert, NOLA BOBA is the place to go. There’s something on the menu for everyone. My favorite is the lavender boba tea. You can enjoy your treats on the outdoor patio or place your order at the drive thru window. The customer service is outstanding and I look forward to treating myself to the best boba tea and let’s support a local business.

It’s a shame Pho isn’t more popular in this area. I used to get Pho at two different locations nearby, but they suddenly stopped selling Pho.It’s a good thing I found this place. The beef pho here with the extra meatball definitely hit the spot. I’m pleasantly surprised. I hope they stick around. They may be the only, “if not the best,” Pho place in town.What did I like about the Pho?I got my Pho to go. I didn’t pick it up right away so I wasn’t expecting it to be hot but it was still warm when I got home. The noodles were sticking together, but that didn’t bother me because I was able to separate them easily with the chopsticks that came with it.I noticed right away the generous portions of beef which made me happy to see. Then in a separate container from the noodles and beef was the soup or “the delicious juices” with again a generous amount of meatballs.These meatballs were like your standard what you expect out of a meatball Pho, but there was also a hint of Italian sausage flavor in there. That was something I didn’t expect, but it ended up being some of the most flavorful meatballs I’ve ever had in a Meatball Pho.The Pho also came with a bag of all your other expected fixings; the raw jalapeños, the bean sprouts, the mint leaves, slices of lemon, and a small container of that black sauce in case you really want to make it spicy. I tend to save all the extra spices at the end. I want to savor all those strong refreshing flavors.I recommend you start plain, add in a few mint leaves and bean sprouts, squeeze in a dash of lemon juice, then drop in some jalapeños, and at the very end place a drop of that extra spicy sauce. ?

I received a King Cake from Nola Boba today (1/23) that was ordered on 1/15 and paid for overnight shipping. The king cake is not edible. The icing is all over the bottom of the box, not on the King Cake and the bread (cake) is stale. Nola Boba was notified immediately and refused to issue a refund to my sister. Instead they offered to give her 2 King Cakes of She wanted to go pick them up. My sister had these made for 2 of us here in Texas. We can't drive to her house in New Orleans and eat the King Cake. She deserves a refund and this establishment is continuously arguing that it's the Post Office's fault, not theirs. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. They are not honorable people and they do not honor their product. Shame on them.
