Rotolo's Pizzeria

Wife and I Had take out for dinner from Rotolos Destrehan La recently. Calzones, bread sticks and salads. Food was delicious. Very hearty and generously filled with all the key ingredients. Better-freshest food quality and generous portions than I can ever remember. This was a very nice experience compared to other restaurants with similar menu. The girl who served me was very polite and respectable. Gave me much needed faith in the young people in the food service area and restaurant management.

I cant speak on the service or atmosphere as ive only gotten it to go. Its not bad, and the ingredients are fresh. The only thing i notice is that depending on what you get, their food can be super soggy. I found the calzone to be weirdly overcooked, but also undercooked inside? Lol otherwise its pretty good. Salad was great and large portions. Fast cooking (maybe too fast)

Meat ball sandwich was incredible. The sauce was a little sweet and I could have eaten it like soup! Loved it.

The food is good! I had the personal pizza with pepperoni but they sadly forgot my pepperoni. I had it a few nights ago too and it was way better with pepperoni lol. If you do get the pizza get ranch! The ranch made it so much better. I was very excited for the spaghetti but it sadly wasn’t as good as expected. The meatballs were great but the sauce not as much. The service was great and I really liked them!! Everyone working was super sweet!

Food was nothing to call home about, the service from Evelyn is terrible. Very incompetent and neglected us from time to time. Even though the other girls were lovely, I will NOT be coming back here.

Don't have hours until 9:00 PM if you don't want to take orders at 8:45 by phone.Tried to order online start at 8:35 pm after have issues with the online order I called at 8:45 & was told "We like close in 10 minutes" if you work in the food service industry...I HAVE & still do!!! And you don't want to take orders or seat a table 15 minutes before closing then change your hours.Don't start cleaning until after closing if you don't like working after your posted hours to fulfill the closing duties then find a new job.

They can make there calzones better...you get more bread than ingredients...great

Stopped onto this restaurant for lunch with some friends. Seating was no problem. We all had salads and they were all very good. Our server was excellent.
