Green Park Resort and Marina is an "old school" bar and grill owned by Ted Hanson, a well-known entertainer from Arklatex. The place offers a busy, hometown feel, and it is popular among those who grew up in the 80s and 90s. The resort features live music by Teddy and the Po'boys every Sunday night, and guests can enjoy great times.
The resort is not as luxurious as it once was, but it is still a popular spot for those seeking a lively atmosphere. It is known for its clean restrooms and cold beverages, including beer, wine, and sodas. Guests can enjoy free pool 7 days a week, and participate in 9 ball pool tournaments on Tuesdays and Saturdays for a small entry fee.
Vicki Hansen, the manager and bartender, encourages everyone to visit the resort and have a great time. She hopes that guests will join them for the pool tournaments and enjoy the live music. The resort is open 7 days a week, and guests are welcome to stop by anytime.
