“My husband & I stopped here on our way back to Texas. I had the tacos de bistec & pastor. It's hard to find good pastor tacos and this place exceeded my expectations for sure. My husband had the menudo, which is also hard to find good Menudo, but my husband absolutely loved it! We will definitely be stopping here again on our next trip to Louisiana.

“Every time I am home for vacation from Tennessee where I am living nowadays. I stop in for some great food and drinks. I am a retired chef and know a lot about cooking Mexican food. The food, place, and staff are A-1 and I would give them 2 thumbs 👍.”

“Me and my dad went to get lunch today, and we arrived a couple minutes before closing due to getting turned around on the way there, but the ladies were still so sweet and hospitable despite the time. The owner was extremely sweet to us and so was the cashier, and the food was phenomenal! The onion rings and corn nuggets are perfect! The batter is very light and crispy. I got the BLT, which had the best crispiest bacon I’ve ever had on a BLT; and my dad got the Cheeseburger which was also so good. The patty is real beef and very juicy/tender. The buns were also very soft and it was overall a great lunch experience. They let us eat at the picnic tables outside since they closed, but they still offered their services while cleaning and checked in with us to be sure we were enjoying our food. 10/10 will be coming back and bringing some friends! 🤍”

“Just finished having lunch there with my wife. The baked ham lunch plate was a perfect sized portion and the ham was juicy and delicious! The green beans and carrots were perfectly cooked and the red bliss potatoes were so tender. My wife’s ham and cheese sandwich was griddled to a beautiful golden brown. We both got a slice of pie to finish off our meal (lemon meringue for her, bumbleberry for me). Both pies were outstanding! We can’t wait to come back again!”
