We were staying at The Fairfax BnB and Debbie recommended The Forrest Restaurant for dinner. We ordered Fried Shrimp and Oysters and they were perfectly fried and delicious! Dessert was Mississippi Mud Cake...yum! I ordered a Vodka Tonic from bar and the tonic was flat but other than that everything was great. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.
Great place to stay. So quiet, I could work on all my reports! Enjoyed the restaurant too. Fresh breakfast, plenty of food. Friendly and warm greetings. The hotel rates are very reasonable. Morgan City rates were too high and the area around the hotel was too noisy.
