“Me and my two sisters were visiting in Franklin, LA and we were looking for some good Louisiana cooking, this restaurant was highly recommended by Mama Dee, a very nice and down-to-earth young lady we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit. When we arrived at the restaurant, the ambiance was NICE and the staff was VERY welcoming with that good Southern hospitality. THE FOOD OMG THE FISH, SHRIMP and THE FRESH SALAD was AMAZING. I would recommend anyone who's passing through Franklin, LA to stop at Ms. Annie Mae's it will be worth it so much. Miss Annie Mae I can't wait to come back and bring some friends along with my sisters, we may let you know when we're coming or drop by and surprise you!!!!! “Barto's Real Soul Food is a small establishment located at 911 Willow St in Franklin, Louisiana. The restaurant is owned and operated by Rodney Barto and his wife, Adrianne. The menu is suited for just about any.liking and he has one of the best burgers in town. Barto's is open daily at 11am and closed on Saturdays. Every other Sunday, he serves BBQ with all the fixings. He's recently included his Thirsday $5 Box special which included a 2pc Dried Chicken, Fries and a biscuit. Really good food quiet little atmosphere and the most humble people you'll encounter.
