Got the sampler, definitely worth the price! This was our first time visiting, everyone was super friendly and they even brought us out a sample to try 😛 everything was delicious, the ribs were my favorite

Got the sampler plate, everything was gas 😋😋. The ribs fell off the bone and the brisket was so tender. Also got a sample of the chopped beef, which was so good. The workers are super friendly. We went in December and they had a nice fire going and everything. Love this place ❤️

The food here is really good! We both had the sampler plate which comes with ribs, sausage and brisket, and two sides. The ribs were delicious and fall off the bone tender. Sausage was great. The brisket was so tender you could cut it with the wrong end of a butter knife! The jambalaya was soooooo good, a must try. Don't forget the peach cobbler!!

Best ribs ever! We got the sampler plate, so we got to try the chicken, sliced brisket, sausage, some ribs, and a little chopped beef with jambalaya and beans on the side. All was delicious but those ribs!!! Yum!! Now I'll tell you, don't be alarmed when you pull up, it's an old, old, old place with LOTS of history but they sure know what they are doing! He's been there for 35 years and still going strong. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

This place has five stars for a reason! Fantastic barbecue. Shank cat was the owners grandmothers nickname. The restaurant is located in her property. 35 years there!!! It’s more than a restaurant. It’s an experience. The guys running, it have a ton of character. Definitely worth the stop.
